Funny, when I first got a used 8-track player at the local "swap shop" when I was like 10 (which was over 20 years ago, wow), the only tape with it was the Sound Of Music soundtrack. We tested it with that tape, and the unit worked great (Panasonic, so of course). I think my copy was a later edition with the artwork on the label. Definitely no clamshell case or sleeve. Like you said, a popular title.

I am unlucky enough to have an original pressing if two virgins😭

Got that first pressing of Led Zeppelin 2 still in the wrapper as well and I will say that it’s one of my all-time favorites to jam too I got multiple copies of it but that first pressing sounds so much better than any newer copyI got.

There was a lot of this kind of stuff in my grandfather's basement when we cleaned it out. Tough to be a collector in the city. No room to store anything.
