One question WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO THE CRYBABY
Metal man, looks like Michael Romeo from Symphony X. Great influence. Thats the secret This vídeo are cool. Cheers my friend. Tmj irmão. 💪💪🤘🤘👍👍
Look, "Ace of Spades" 🤘🤪🤘
Not fair !!! A 50 quid adjustable pedal against a double priced none adjustable pedal HELL ITS FAIR !
Sound like CB has more wah.
Those are the best picks I’ve tried
I had a JD Crybaby back in the 1980s, great sound, but exact same issue with switching as you AND it did wear, due to its mechanical nature. I've got an early Morley Wah and it's okay, but I reckon the Behringer is worth a try, it has some nice features🤔✌️✌️
Found this dude who modded his addressing the power and sweep issue: th-cam.com/video/JI6q02f1MsA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=TmtqKCaxdQR8sn6e
If the mod is done correctly on the Hellbebe, it makes a TOTAL difference......When stock, the sweep does not start until quite a bit of travel is induced on the pedal......after the mod, the sweep starts immediately as travel is induced. I made a short to try to help
Interesting idea. How easy is the Hellbabe to mod?
@@TokiWardguitarIt is easy, just take the time. There is a thick piece of cardboard that has a kind of triangle cutout which lets the light through.......If you take care while using an Exacto knife, you can make the triangle longer, which in turn starts the 'sweep' quicker once the pedal is pressed, rather than having to press the pedal until about 25% when stock to activate the sweep. Hope this makes sense.
Wah about your business. I love it 😂
Do you think if I change the tone pot of a Hellbabe for the one inside a Cry Baby it will sound more similar? I got one Crybaby that doesnt work but the pot was kinda new, and maybe I buy the hellbabe por the added functions.
I would check out the sizes of both Tone pots on both pedals for a start. As not all companies will use the same tone pot sometimes. Also it's worth dropping Dunlop an email or message to try find what tone pot they put in the cry baby.

great demo and playing Mr.!
Thank you so much 🙂
Great work my friend! Nice playing and nice singing!! Keep the covers coming!! 🎸
Thank you so much man 😊
Me gustaron las comparaciones el cry baby es mas agudo y el otro suena mas grave. Me gusto más el hellbabe lo senti menos chillón 😂
Thanks for this. Really helpful.
Hellebabe is a poor product. It clicks and pops using different leads guitars and amps. Cry baby is by far better.
Fair point. It's still a good budget product for those starting out I think
Great video!
Thank you man. I'm glad it's still helping people out 🙂
Sweet video! Very helpful! Keep these coming if you have the time. We always appreciate hearing what these pedals can do. especially if we are thinking of buying. Cheers
No worries and thank you for the comment. I have a couple of video ideas in the works but it's just trying to find the time (!) If you like my music and want to hear more check out my band 'Onion Mash' 🙂
Being from across the pond, my instant reaction was “ why the hell does the guitar weigh 350 lbs?” Lol
It's to work my neck muscles out haha
I just saw one of these in a pawn shop for $80 CAD but I passed it up because I already have a Crybaby and I just picked up a Boss T Wah yesterday… maybe I made a mistake… I loved that it had a spring in there
The spring function is very useful. Definitely worth a look. Although between the Cry Baby and the Boss you have some good options
Hey, quick question. Does behringer wah pedal turn on only after when jacks cables are in sockets? I mean nevermind in you have battery od 9v DC, it will turn only when guiar cables are in place.
Hi there. I just tested it and it turns on when there is a jack cable in the input 🙂
It's a choice between spending £100 And spending£50
Did you ever try the dime cry baby from hell?
I tried one out in a guitar store and seem to remember liking it. Love Dimebag 🙂
Nice shootout video. The comparisons are great
Thank you 😊
Had the worst experience with fretlook customer service. They tried to charge me 3x which flagged my card as fraud and shut it down, then after going back and fourth months later after never receiving my item, them sending me fake tracking (or tracking that didn't show anything) I said I just wanted a refund to which they responded " This officially makes you the worst customer ever. We will refund the amount now. However, we will keep an eye on the tracking. If you accept the package, we reserve the right to charge the amount again. " I'll keep stickers off my quality guitars from here on out.
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with them
Thoughts on the Rocktron Black Cat Moan Wah pedal?
I've not tried it I'm afraid. I'll look it up
I have the cry baby. I actually think it sounds better after the battery has wound down a bit. In fact when the battery is quite used up it has a very different 'milder ' kind of wah that I like a lot.
That's an interesting take. May have to try that as a part two
Prueba alimentarlo con menos voltaje
Bother,bother,bother....
I've had a Crybaby and a Behringer Hell Babe the Hell Babe I fell in love with it so much more convenient because there's no button underneath to activate it like the Crybaby I accidentally left the Hell Babe in a house in New Mexico when I moved and I was sure I grabbed it but it was not anywhere in my guitar gear and I thought it was
I'd definitely still recommend the Hell babe as a good, cheap alternative to the cry baby. Although now I'm using the built in expression pedal built into my POD go as my main wah. I'll be doing a video on the POD go as soon as I have a full day free. Thank you for the comment and I hope you find your Hell Babe
I've Dimebag wah and the Behringer and I have to say the Behringer is so much more convenient that way. The button is such a pain to get used to.
Aweful video.
I've got both these and a Morley wah. I don't man, this cheap model really does give the other two a good run for their money. Your show down in this video only showed the behringer set in one setting. If you were to adjust the settings it does beat the cry baby in my opinion. But that's just my two cents. Thanks for the great video.
No problem. Thank you for the comment
Are both buffered bypass?
yeah man! excellent riff! I like how the first part turns around and the ending with that melody was very sick. Congratulations, great contribution for this week's swola bro 🤘🤘
Dude, thank you so much. It's appreciated 😊
Both sound great :) thanks man
Thank you!
a real heavy metal men
Very well done. I dig the thrashy/punk vibe; lots of energy- and I love the purple pickups ;) 🤘💀🤘 -Best of luck on your music and your channel, and much support from one player to another. Huge 👍's up!
Thank you man, it means a lot to me. And right back at you 😊
Love the riffs bro, just subscribed. Also i have this little amp, and i love it. It's great for recording and lighter than a feather to move around. A homemade 2x12 cab with an eminence governer and a swamp thang, it pushes it well, and sounds tight.
Thanks for the subscribe! And yeah, I love how tight this amp sounds for the price. Stick a good overdrive in front of it and away you go!
@@TokiWardguitar I've been running a Boss DA-2 through the front and it sounds really really good. Been using it for cutting scratch tracks in the studio but honestly i think some of these tones will be on the record. Good tones are good.
I got the jackman 2 and the zombie 2, I play them both through seperate 4x12 marshall code 412 cabinets, using a a/b/y splitter to send the guitar signal to both amps. The built in distortion channel on these amps are great, the jackman gives me a jcm sound, and the zombie gives me a mesa boogie rectifier sound. Dont be fooled by their size or 20w rating, these amps are loud as hell. I put my valve heads away and use these nowerdays, that's how much they impressed me.
Thank you for the comment! I couldn't agree more, both heads are great. I love having the option of two distinct sounds in such a small package
Got Zombie I cause I don't play live anyway since a good while. And probably it wouldn't be enough to keep up with whole band (maybe with just a drummer as some folks claim)
I have used both the Zombie and Jackman II with full bands and can confirm that both amps cut it live :)
Well done sir 👍
Thank you so much 🙏
What an exceptional way to play, the precision was just unbelievable! 🎸💯
Thank you Laura
I liked this review. I fancy fret decals because the small white neck dots on my inventory of entry level electrics screams cheeeeeep! Truthfully, mind but fret stickers can allay that impression. Because a second hand Squier polished up and set up right does not look or sound so different than a high ender Fender. I was going to order these Fretlooks but they're so expensive that I said heck with it. Same goes for stickers from Amazon. Too expensive for the sake of my vanity. I will not mind this so much once I select 1vor 2 from my collection for upgrading. Then they will be worthwhile. Thanks again.
No problem and thank you
Mine cost $12.00. Not expensive at all.
Hell yeah dude!!
Thanks man, I appreciate it. :)
I have purchased a brand new unit and it has micro scratches on his screen. There was no plastic cover on the screen as well. Is this Mooer quality ?
SQUIER
Yeah...that too 🤣
This slams hard Toki loved it! 🤘
Thank you man!
Legend as always
Thank you :)
Enjoyed this and I haven't played a guitar in years!
Thank you :)
Works so well with synths as well as guitar , i run a variety of diffrent gear thru it from a Arturia microbrute to a moog sub 37 , i personally think its one hell of a good pedal , as i also picked mine up fairly cheap here in Aus too.
Matthew Cody I must try it with some synths! Bet it sounds great. Also hi to Aus from the UK! :)
Beginner Guitar Teachings Corby the nice thing is it sorta can be used as a synth type instrument just run a lead from right out to right in and put into loop mode and you can get some amazing soundscapes peace from Aus.
@@matthewcody1757 I'd love for you to send over some stuff your working on if you need guitar as this sounds fascinating!
Beginner Guitar Teachings Corby yeah im dawless atm but will hopefully get a computer soon but am saving up for a moog grandmother and a sampler probably a sp404a
