OHHH GURL THAT WAS... SOMETHING 😅 Okay, adventures crash course! This is relevant if you wanna focus on exploring tombs and stuff. I'm just on the first paragraph and I know this will be a long one... Carmen's LTW is maxing all visas to level 3. This is done by completing local quests. You get them by viewing the travel board in your base camp (the sparkling one) or sometimes by getting a random phone call. Those quests/opportunities are priceless: they all have a fun story to follow (so highly recommend reading all the descriptions) and they basically guide you to 95% of tombs. For exploring certain tombs or parts of tombs you have to have keys which can only be obtained through those quests. So my advice: run to the travel board and grab a quest whenever possible. Yeah, there are some dull ones like bring stuff or make friends with someone but they still give you visa points, money and ancient coins. You still can explore tombs on your own if you feel like it but you will miss certain parts that are story-related. Also the higher the visa level, the longer you can stay in the country. Preparations: you need a tent, lots of dried food or fruits and a handful of portable showers (those are bought at the same store with the tent). Those showers are irreplaceable when it comes to fire traps. You can also buy some useful items from the Special Merchant (reddish map icon) for ancient coins (the ones that you get for completing opportunities and that you collect from piles in tombs). Different goods require different visa levels. Tombs. First of all, you do have to be observant, it comes with the territory 😅 Pay attention to clay tablets on walls, they almost always give very valuable hints (like the one with the purple well, yeah :D). Hidden doors are usually marked by a different floor or wall pattern but are not always that visible. Sometimes they require extra action to be opened ike pulling a switch or something. Wells can be explored for items, switches or teleportation to an adjacent well, you can also extinguish yourself in those if you get into a fire trap. Speaking of which, Traps. The trickier part. Sometimes they're hidden. You can move your cursor over the floor and walls and if it changes to a gear icon, you can Inspect the place and uncover a trap (unfortunately most of the time the gear icon on walls comes from NRaas menu 🙄🙄🙄). None of the traps are lethal from the first contact but an unfortunate series of events can cause death. You can disarm traps (mechanical skill comes in handy, but some traps can't be disarmed at all), you can try to get past them (like get soaked in a well before attempting to go through a fire trap), you can destroy them by moving a statue over them and you can turn them off with switches and stuff. If a trap has "crumbs" surrounding it, it means it's broken for good and won't cause you any more trouble. Sometimes you just have to find a way to go around the traps - you never know. Floor patterns can play as a clue sometimes. Mummies. Those guys are dangerous, obviously. They won't kill you but they will curse you and the curse will kill you if not cured. You can get the curse several times and be cured several times, it's not a one time thing, so you always have to be careful around rooms with sarophagi. Speaking of which, you can explore them for valuables, sleep in them after exploring and even have woohoo in them haha! Also I think you can hide from mummies in them for some time which is funny. I might be mistaken though. Defeating a mummy in a fight requires a high athletic and/or martial arts skill + luck so it's best not to count on that for the time being. Pro-tip: "push/pull far" interactions on statues are active until you hit a blocking point so you have to cancel the action with appropriate timing to stop moving the statue whenever you need it. I usually cancel the interaction the moment my sim starts moving the statue on the target square. I think those are the most important parts. I'll let you figure the rest out by yourself but feel free to ask for any clarifications!

Ooh I feel I'll leave quite a bit of comments here - or a single long one - bc World Adventures is my favorite expansion pack and I've completed all the tombs several times 😅 First of all, the Unlock interaction on 1:14 is not a vanilla one, it's something that came with NRaas or some other mod. You've unlocked the door that was supposed to be your exit 😁 Doors in tombs open automatically when you trigger them with keystones or floor panels or anything else, the Unlock interaction is not, uhh, canon :)) I'm only in the beginning of the episode here plus I see that you've already visited the Sphinx to get the blessing so I'll probably finish watching first and then will edit this comment!

This is my first time watching a build in sims 3! It’s so interesting how much more freedom you have to move things around particularly where you want them. Watching you build the roofing was so satisfying to me, the roofing in sims four drives me crazy!!!

I wish there were more people,who builds the sims 3 houses,cause I am addicted,and I love this.Need some inspiration for my farmfamily😉I have to ask you,if it would be possible,if you could build some little bit smaller,very farm house for grandpa,parents and their teen girl.Just asking.Thanks anyway for this one
