Yeah man, I honestly think with a full camp behind him, that fight would've been much closer. I still see Buckley winning, but would be interesting to see how Buckley faired in rounds 4 and 5 defending takedowns. Covington didn't seem to have the confidence to push a pace for the takedowns because he knew it was a 5 rounder and he wasn't prepared.

Yeah, you can tell it's very scripted and not off the cuff. He's working overdrive to remember his lines and constantly fumbles through it.

I spoke to him being like the OG, the legend, Chael P. Sonnen. Whether you like him or you hate him, he gets people watching and that's all that matters in terms of publicity and money

Great callout, dude. He has great jiu jitsu but no way to get it to the ground other than pulling guard. A lot of grapplers have at least decent striking to get respect on the feet and to allow them to set up their takedowns. If you have zero takedowns and zero striking, you shouldn't be in the UFC at 36 years old, let alone a Pay-Per-View main card...

@AZ-hg6kw Yeah for sure, that was the scariest KO outside of Askren to date. I like to see that he took a year off after that, and he hadn't been chinned before so I hope he's good. Kron won't really be a threat from a striking perspective, but could see Bryce hesitant to take punches in the beginning

@TheMMAMystic_Official well for his sake hopefully he keeps it standing Kron is a very accomplished grappler and has won many BJJ tourneys I'm just a fan of the Skrap Pack I always back the boys of Nick Diaz. Maybe Kron was hanging with the fuckwits Nick was recently that could be why he looked so awful.

Luque used to be so exciting back in the day but that last fight against Buckley just killed his aura for me. Hard for me to pick someone after something like that. Themba Gorimbo is boring AF but I think he can hold Luque against the fence or on the ground and grind out a decision. Would welcome an upset here and see Luque back to his older form, though...
