Bravo!
it's crazy of god awful this recording is 😭😭😭😭😭😭
I like pizzaro's recordings but this ain't it. Look at scriabin's playing of this piece for comparison. This is such awful playing.

Hermosa composición, la dirección y la interpretación de la Orquesta, Genial !! Gran compositor Rodrigo Lomán. Enhorabuena !
After hearing Scriabin's own playing (piano roll), this doesn't sound like a Mazurka anymore. More like a dreamy Nocturne, but I still like it

Not only did you "not make the gif" you cut off the final seconds showing who *did* make the gif.

I find that Strauss is very close to Brahms' style in this composition. As in some of his interludes where romantic lyricism crops up considerably. Good afternoon for the channel from Italy.
I like; great interpretation for a great job.
Highly underrated recording. The piano and pianist are become one. Amazing tone and clarity. Also, thank you for crediting the artist!
Me encantó !
Wow !
Wow !! Súper !!
Extraordinario director, felicidades!
Bravo !!!
Fue mi maestro de piano en el CNM, estupendo pianista, se le extraña mucho.
Inefable!!!
Felicidades muy buen trabajo
No conocía esta canción de cuna, me gustó ! y bien el director !
Too slow and too much pedal. He's making a ritardando on every single note. This music used to be agile and crisp when was written.
That's right, this is probably too slow. The Belaev edition (in the screen shot) has quarter note = 144-168, and also, we know how Scriabin himself played it: th-cam.com/video/xgD8Qq01CxY/w-d-xo.htmlm55s
THE POST OFFICE
What I don't understand though, is this habit of some pianists of constantly delaying the melody notes so that they fall just after the left hand chords. It's one thing to do it OCCASIONALLY for an aesthetic effect but when it's every. Fucking. Beat. Jeeze!
Yes I get your point and I support you argument. It's just that this pianist has something magical about the way he plays Scriabin his own way.I played this after knowing this recording and I then realised of how less he respects the scores indications or the notes values but in the end I still love his way of playing.
Chopinco Yeah, I'm definitely not arguing against his touch and overall sound. He's got that down beautifully! I just feel like when pianists get too addicted to the particular aesthetic I pointed out, it starts to sound like they're constantly tripping and the rhythmic continuity is lost. It's tough with Scriabin because his music is so overlaiden with precise polyrhythms, yet the feel and aura of his music gives the impression that a musician need not worry about being precise with these things. It's a tough balance!
KIBanshee9 Yes I do get your point :D, my piano teacher used to say something very clever to me when studying Scriabins second sonata, he said that he was a great improvisor so it's quite a possibility that he wouldn't play all of those difficult irregular rhythms as precise as they are written. He told me to take some liberty smartly without losing the sense of rhythmic continuity as you mentioned.
that was also my first tought on the first 3 seconds !
I was laughing really hard when I saw this gif on twitter 😂
It's beautiful and it continues sir.
WONDERFUL MUSIC ... THANK YOU <3
Beautiful!
Its between staccato and legato, lightly detached.
Well finger strength might be a problem but that should be worked apart, maybe try learning the whole prelude really slow and once you can play it with no mistakes gradually go raising the speed (this can take several days if you're not so experienced) :)
Thank you!!!!!!
You should search for Jill Crossland here on youtube, i think that is a nice version of it =). Take care :D. P.S. Pls post a video when you play it :D
Hi! Thanks, i'm glad u liked it =). Well actually i believe the legato is more suitable to this prelude, mostly in the left hand of course, i was just in the mood to play it staccato that time hehe. The tempo of the fugue well, i've heard it mostly at my tempo but the nature of the fugue allows it to be slower also i believe. Also i decided to use staccato in the fugue since i did it in the prelude and that helped me to sing more individually each voice but its better with legato also =).
Hi.. you are really good! :) i am to play this at my ATCL examination this time... was just wondering, if the left hand needs to be this "staccato"ey... coz mine more legato though not completely... and Fugue must be a bit slower i think.. but again, lovely playing, so envious of all of u who sound so great!!!! :)
HERMOSO!!!! GRACIASSSS
Richard Strauss died in the small villege of Garmisch-Partenkirchen just after the WW2.These beautiful photos remind me the favorite landscapes of this great composer. I like the melancholic melody composed by Strauss. Thank you.
@Chopinco Thanks! you played beautifully! :]
