Hi Steve, Thanks for another wonderful video. The Ichimoku 101 was a great refresher. I do multi time frame analysis using Renko and Ichimoku and a filter that I personally use is that the lagging span should be above the cloud in a 4 hour (equivalent block size in 1 minute 😉) for entering a long trade in 15 minutes equivalent chart and vice versa for short entries. There is a critical issue with backtesting on this Renko chart. The problem is that signals do not appear until the actual time period of the timeframe has completed. By the time the period finishes, the price has already moved far away from the point where the signal should have occurred, yet the signal is shown at the initial point. This kind of backtest can be misleading, and the actual results can differ significantly. How do you handle this issue?

I created this donchian for Ninja trader it looks cool but not smooth like tradingview because trading view has time based renko and ninja not but it looks cool and works as well.

you dont have the correct renko on your chart.. the proper one has wicks on it, its the main heads up signal confirmation of the change in price direction
