Filling in the veg garden
Now the the mulch and carpet are removed the spot has to re built up. This time it's the 374 and the A40G only as the D11 has final drive issues (as did the 374 at the end).

With Mount Claudia nearly finished, now was an opportunity to remove the carpet under the mulch in the garden. A fungus in the roots of the trees was being accommodated by the carpet so it was time to get rid of it but first the mulch had to be shifted to expose it. #rcbulldozer , #DXR2buldozer, #XDRC

I brought out the 336 while the batteries of the bulldozer were flat and shifted the back and sides of the pile to make it easier to doze. Besides, it's been a while since I worked the excavator. #rcconstruction #rcconstruction , #kabolite336 , #kabolite , #rcexcavator

It is the 336. It IS the actual machine featured in one of CSMIs revue vids (much to my consternation). There were some issues with the valves internal finishes that allowed cylinders to leak down that I had to take care of. Other that that it has been a solid machine.
Thank you for the heads up. I ordered the 961-100s. We will see if its corrected on this newer one supposedly. 👍
I operate not a cat first thing I would have done is get on top of the pile. Easier to see when in the cab loading trucks. Also cuts down the time to load. But great job.

It is down for the moment. The planetary gear pins in the second last set are worn out of round which causes lockups. Currently waiting for replacements.

try wd40 or diesel on the blade it will help to keep the dirt from sticking so bad
Have you had any issues with the dozer yet? And do you plan to make any modifications to it?
Yes, The tracks wore out after only a few hours. By wore out I mean the pins fell out and the track derailed and some grousers broke. A new set of tracks from RC Constructions have been just great. Yesterday I experienced what I thought was an issue with the ESCs with intermittent fail to respond but today I went out to try and video the issue and the machine worked fine (for a time) but then it started to play up. I think I now have final drive issues. I'm not sure if I should just go looking for (improved) replacements or do a tear down and clean then discover that they are irreparable.

@@TheJmac52 The planet gear pins of the second last reduction are oval shaped now although the planet gear bushes seem to be just fine (by testing on the other planet carriers in the set). Someone else (on YT) found the same issue and fixed them with Dremel tool shanks.
@@reeceisaac556 I cleaned mine and used some decent grease in them, but that’s a good idea with the dremel shanks

Thanks for your comments. It was my daughter who suggested the speed up although I had already some slight speed boost previously. Yes I am replying from a different sign in and my other channel. I have a number of RC vids still to post. Now the it's a little warmer now and I can remount the camera on the bike I have more handlebar rides to post too.

I started watching your videos from oldest to the newest. And I can see how you have gotten better at this. Your skills as an operator on the dozer have really improved. Keep up the good work. I’m enjoying your videos and wanting some of the equipment. Maybe someday I’ll pull the trigger and purchase a dozer ( as that is my favorite) and eventually get some more to add to the workforce.
Great work mate, it's a pity the blade design makes the dirt stick so bad.
Thanks for the comment. Yes the blade design isn't the best for this material and there are some after market "S" or "U" (I'm not sure the correct type) blades available. The best one is more the a third of the value of the machine and the others are just horrible. I have the blade leaning back a fair bit. This gives me a better tilt range, it I wind it out too much I can only tilt the blade predominantly one side.
@@reeceisaac556 yes, I am going to buy one when I can afford it. The adjuster on the side of the blade is to put cut on the blade. This helps a real dozer in harder ground. Or lean back blade for pushing stuff like sand. Most of the good after market replacement parts are sold by csmi Australia. The speed the dozer does from factory is to fast, so needs 80t motors. Hope you have lots of good times with your dozer.
