Tying The Chromatic Peanut

The Circus Peanut platform has been a breeding ground for the modern streamer game. This specific version utilizes Sanyo’s Chromatic brushes. Lots of flash, lots of color and lots of movement is what this fly is about!

Tying The Brush Head Feather Game Changer

We all know and love Blanes original Feather GameChanger. The movement and serpentine action is what makes his series of GameChanger flies so effective. By adding a brush head, you can really elevate the action of the Feather GameChanger. Man.....well done. Subscribed!
That means a lot coming from you!! Thank you!!
I really like it. Thanks for sharing. The only thing I've tied similar to that is the Buford fly. I'll have to give this pattern a try.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Another solid tie nice job!
Appreciate it!
Good Tie
Thanks Danny!
How does it cast?
Casts like a dream!
Man, even if it is a similar fly to one you've already tied its nice watching how you blend different colors and how you put the whole thing together. Good lookin tie!
Thanks man!
What scissors are you using?? Are they actually a fly tying brand or some sort of beard scissors?
Yup! just a cheap pair of surgical scissors I had. I work with a lot of synthetic material and it dulls scissors out very quick.
I commented previously but I keep watching it and I feel the need to again state how cool this fly is!! Great job!
I really appreciate the kind words!
Certainly no disrespect to Russ Madden, but your slight variation is fantastic and even cooler! Great work!
Thank you! Russ came up with a fantastic platform that can be tied with so many different materials! His OG Circus Peanut and Chromatic Peanut shown in the video are truly amazing flies!
This would have been a 30 minute tie on some channels. I’m a big fan of the more abbreviated format
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Looks like I’m going to be tying some now. Was I the only one that noticed uv copper olive when he used uv black polar chenille
Sorry you confuse ya! I did use the copper olive, I just stuffed the UV black in the same package to cut down on how many bags I had laying around!
Bombproof fly there
Thanks for the video!
One helluva tie, love it!
Is that thing a bear to cast? I love it but that is a ton of materials. Great pattern....I am not being a hater.
It’s great to cast on a 8wt, the mini version is good on those lighter rods!
Looks like a fun day. I've been tying larger flies to get out there & catch some largemouth. Thank you for sharing the video.
Thanks! Good luck out there!
@@BronzeRiverFlyCo. You too.
Man YOU GUYS crushing it . They are like a day away from chasing in PA
It was definitely a great way to kick the season off!
Can ya tell us what gear and line you were rockin? Looks like a good numbers day! Fun!
Sure! 7wt Gloomis SwimFly 7wt SA Sonar Titan intermediate Nautilus XL reel Custom build leader We used a plethora of Swimflies, Swinging Ds, Leggy Bois and Fleein Crays! Definitely a Solid numbers day with a few nice ones, last 2 fish in the video toped at 17 and 19 inches. Thanks for watching!
@@BronzeRiverFlyCo. awesome thanks! How’s that titan line perform? It’s the second time today someone mentioned that line. I’ve never used it.
Great line for streamers, we like them in Michigan because our rivers do not run extremely deep. We like the Sonar Titan for early season as it’s a better line for colder temps. As we get into summer and the water temps heat up we’ll switch to the SA Tropical clear tip, identical line but built for warm water.
I couldn't last 10 seconds with that music playing. Sorry, honest to gosh.
Sorry about that! Figured it was better then listing to us ramble on haha. I’ll keep that in mind for next video! Thanks for checking it out!
@@BronzeRiverFlyCo. music was fine. dudes a karen. honest to gosh.
What a day brother 🙌🏼🔥
Always a good day homie!
Dang, awesome recipe and cookin! The tan colored brush is the lively leg brush? That thing looks nasty with the variegated colors mixed in.
Yes sir the tan brush is the lively leg brush! Super fun pattern to tie and you really can’t mess up on colors! Add as much in as you can!
Awesome fly, man!
Thank you!
Nicely done!
Hen saddle is tough to find. Any ideas where to find some?
It’s a tough go these days man. Especially for colors. Just keep an eye out and don’t hesitate when you see some for sale!
what type of shanks or connectors do you use to connect the trailing shanks to the hooks? could you maybe provide a materials list? Great fly! keep up the awesome videos and patterns, your channel is very underrated!

2"Frenzy Fly Brush on both the front and back? And im not finding any 1.5"Lively Leg brush, did you make up your own for this? @@BronzeRiverFlyCo.
@@joshewert3511 I typically use 2 inch frenzy for both front and back sections, trimming the first section to around 1 inch and leaving the hook section 2 inches. I get my 1 and 1.5 inch leggy brushes from Schultz Outfitters!
Hell yea, glad to see you get on the TH-cams
Yea man it’s about time I’d say!
