I’ve just got a 1978 8011 , unfortunately half the braking system is missing on it . The brake master cylinders were missing ( I’ve got new ones) , but in the manual I’ve got for it it shows a brake equaliser valve . What I’m wondering is how this valve is connected to the master cylinders , as the book I’ve got for it doesn’t tell me . Any info on this would be much appreciated cheers bruce
The equaliser is fitted at the back of the 2 master cylinders, it's held on by 2 banjo bolts that screw into the outlet ports of the cylinders, the brake pipes to each rear wheel are screwed into the top of the equaliser & the brake light switch is screwed into one end of it. Hope that helps 👍
Put her into high first high multi and let her at it! If I only had a pound for every acre I cut with the same tractor in the seventies and eighties. Cheers from western Australia.
@@marktynan4132 To really appreciate just how far ahead of their time Zeter Crystals were in the seventies one would have had to have spent a few nights in March ploughing with a fordson major (no cab) and a two furrow ransome bar point plough . There was no condensation in the radio those times. That is not to say that the Major was not a good tractor they were, but I can remember many's a time trying to warm myself with the exhaust pipe. A well those days are but a memory.
@@marktynan4132 Very cool, thanks for the information. We mainly used International/Farmall tractors where I grew up and we had a couple of SAMEs. 🦾🤖🚜🧑🌾🙋
Zetors were always underrated wrongly in my opinion
Piękny👍
I'm getting my Zetor Crystal Restored
I have 12011 from 1977
do you still have the tractor ?
I do

@@marktynan4132 that explains a lot ! I’ll find one and get it fitted ! Thanks for letting me know cheers bruce
seen one back in late 70s with a taarup 602 with a direct cutting head ............the crystal would fly with it .........
Serious work there my man. I love those 12011s. Cut alot of silage up my way back in the 80s/90s
Thank you. Love the Crystals meself too. They were a popular machine around here too. Unfortunately gone scarce now though, especially the older ones.
@@marktynan4132 I noticed there was a wider rim and tyre on the front wheels when you got it.
Yep, I took them off to put the originals back on, I have them on another Crystal I have with a loader instead 🙂
Cracking job 👌
Thank you 😊
Where did you get the passenger seat?
The frame is the original, the cushions were got at Mangans garage in Waterford
@@marktynan4132 thanks
@@marktynan4132 where did you get the stickers for the side of the dash the warnings etc
@@seanfagan9127 I got them made myself. I was selling sets of them to anyone that wanted them, but I'm out of them at the moment.
@@marktynan4132 could ya let me know if you ever get anymore?

That's a nice looking tractor, never heard of this one. 🙋📺🚜
Thank you, they were made in Czechoslovakia. The 4 cylinder version (8011/8045,) would have been a very common machine here in Ireland
