When i compare dub and sub i put sub on a level of code geas or deathnote but for all the anime ive seen it jus cant give the emotion dub gives.

When I think about this scene when Dabi revealed his identity to theW🌍RLD every1 was sh😮ck I think AB🤔 UT attack on Titans the first season and at the end of it The shocking looks on Eren and Aaron's Faces were completely shocked and terrifying when they found out one of their friends was the female Titan and Mikisa was dead on point now I can imagine if someone was a double agent in the league of villains and when my find out who was the traitor and also finding out who Dabi really is

i think sub had more emotion than dub 100% because his facial expressions kinda carry it in dubbed but in subbed the voice matches the facial expressions. that endeavour was sick tho

I usually watch the dub but I think the sub was better in this scene. The way he shouted 'Endeavor' was amazing

The dub his sounds much more better in my opinion like he sounds like rough but appropriate because he burned himself alive in side and out and the sub kinda sounds like normal person

The thing is morw of the impact from dabis dance comes from understanding more than how it sounds. At least for me, it lmowing that he's saying and thinking about it hard realy hits. Ofcourse the emotions and passion they pit in makes a great impact, but this is all being saidntonsay its better to enjoy it in the language you best understand.

I like both. Hiro Shimono is so good because i knew him as Zenitsu so knowing that makes his performance as Dabi that much more impressive to me. Jason Liebrecht is a genius for making Dabi's voice raspy because his vocal cords were fried in that fire. Its a nice touch and he sound so much more unhinged in dub. Edit: But can i just give Yuki Kaji (Shoto) a round of applause. He sounds genuinely in distress seeing his brother again but he still knows he needs to fight.

The English voice actors of this anime sound like a bunch of weebs acting out the episode in their basement

That "Endeavor" in Dub had like a mix with Satisfaction and Rage but That "Endeavor" in Sub got one hell of a rage that's been being held inside for so long and it's just getting released

I think the ‘Endeavor!’ Sub line is one of the best voice acting lines in history

I love both. Something I feel with the dub the no one else has mentioned is that he sounds like he’s on stage, as if he’s an actor in a musical. I don’t know what it is it’s just the cadence of his voice I think. I prefer the sub but the dub has its own charm to it.

The sub nails the chilling relaxed but insane kind of vibe, while dub accentuates the struggle he had to go through with his voice being fried and inhinged. Though the dub you kind of feel sorry for Touya, but in the sub you are just captivated by the sheer power he holds, as if he isn't just unhinged, he is batshitcrazy lmao. It kind of brings shivers across my entire body. Finally this manga chapter was animated, I waited for this for so long ㅠㅡㅠ This surely didn't disappoint, both dub and the sub, though I prefer sub more. Japanese is such an expressive language if used right. Btw, you might not have noticed, but the dub really focuses on the familiar bond and they try hard to show Touya's origins, but in the sub, Touya focuses more about the revenge plan and how terrible of a father Enji was. Either way, so greatly executed I can't...

Sub had more emotion to it which is why I prefer it but I love how Dub made Dani’s voice rough and Nasally like his vocals were burned as well, plus they used that great line “you reap what you sow”

I feel like the dub voice actors are great I normally watch the seasons in there dubbed versions but this week I watched the first 4 as dubbed and the rest subbed and now I’m stuck at which one I like better
