This is soo sick. Hey where do you guys ride cause were from the east bay, we have a crew of about 4-8 of us that go out a lot in oakland. I want to get some trips together this summer. I got my 550 fucking dialed for this season.

@469kawirider469 You need to install a Flushing Kit. If you already have one and meant what hose to connect it to, chose the Hose that goes into the exhaust manifold.

Hey bro, nice video. im trying to start my waveblaster to get the old gas out of the carb for winter storage, idk where to hook up the water so i can run it and id hate to drive to the river just to do it. where are you hooking up your hose to get the water through it? id appreciate the help. thanks bro!

Google "Salt Away products", the first page that comes up, look under Products, you will see the Mixing Unit. It is a pretty cool device that allows to introduce the chemical into the water stream when flushing your ski after a salty ride. It also has a Bypass and Off position.

another thing, where did you get that water hose thingy, not the flush kit but that water bowl thing hanging on the side of the ski, trying to buy one so i can flush properly if i decide to go to the ocean.

@th3s41nt Go to their main site hydroturf and buy a whole sheet. Measure rails and cut to fit. Use Weldwood cement (red can) apply on both surfaces and glue at ONCE, you only get one shot :) Get help, an extra set of hands is extremely helpful....

i know its sold but, where did you get the hydro turf for the side rails?

Looks cool at 480p resolution, but 720p or 1080p options in TH-cam don't seem to upscale anything. Also it looks better in the expanded out window within the browser (IE8), but going to Full screen gets really blocky (splotchy). Happy to see you finished editing this and were able to post it. LaLo

@Mdavies02 Both. It acts as a scupper so the water drains as you ride and when you are done riding you can give it a through bath. I ride in the ocean most of the time and I meticulously clean my skis after each ride. NO salt left over will be tolerated....LOL!

@Mdavies02 I dunno, I would say 6 hrs to remove the engine and all components and wash the inside well. Then another 4 hrs to actually make the hole and install the Versiplug. I did the entire process in a month because I did not have the time available but I think is feasible to say you can get it done in 2 days....
