12:22 PM 12/27/2022 I like the cool infantry mods everyone in the community made. If I knew how to make models especially with something easy like TS units I would edit the infantry units too. If TS gets remastered add an easter egg from RA "It Came From Red Alert" but call it "It Came From Tiberian Sun". Its not giant ants but giant Scin bugs. I never played C&C 3 to know about Scrin yet.

12:20 PM 12/27/2022 I was going to test Final Sun out to make a map. But its that buggy with the EA TS game? I had to download a different version online separate from the EA TS game to get the cliffs to work or look right.

12:17 PM 12/27/2022 If you guys remaster Tiberian Sun release an editor that actually works. I never used Final Sun. The only editor I really used with C&C is the one with RA Remaster and that was new to the community but I managed to get it to work but the updates kept screwing the map up.

This trailer sadly was the best part of the game. The music was NEVER released and the game was never this exciting.

I remember watching this in the main menu of Dune 2000. Classic childhood memories indeed.

The 1st time I saw C&C 1 Tiberian Dawn was with my brother in the gaming section of a store (Vilan Aarau xD) on the Playstation 1, probably in 1995/96. I was like 8 and he 10 and we were totally blown away! We started drawing those bases, units and stuff which got burnt into our minds. I don't remember when, but we finally got our very own copy and didn't have to go to the market anymore. It was a blast! When Tiberian Sun got released I was once again mindblown! I got the game even before having a PC to play it 🤣Sometimes I could go with my mom to her friend's apartment and played on her PC, it was special, because rare, since she didn't live nearby. So, I would play the whole night and had to be careful not to open the internet browser (expensive haha). When at home I read the manual tons of times and stared at the beautiful box's artstyle so much... Happy times! I still have all original copies of the games and the PS 1 from back then :D Now my mom's friend is not doing so well anymore and I help her out sometimes. It keeps bringing back the memories and occasionally I still play the games. Now even with the remastered edition and stunning mods^^ Thanks goes out to the devs! Cheers!

I want to see a c&c game made with visuals on par with that of this trailer, just a completely cinematic experience that would capture this universe with as much immersion as possible.

No, the trailer doesn’t show actual gameplay but back then everyone knew that immediately when watching this. Gameplay graphics were more primitive compared to what could be done with FMV sequences, so you wouldn’t expect gameplay graphics to be what’s shown in the trailer because the tech wasn’t there yet. Unlike today where whiny gamers sue if they don’t get exactly what’s in the trailers. 25 years from now, the whiny betas of the 2010s will be fending off their own nostalgia and recounting stories of having to manually input commands with a game controller rather than getting to have full motion input VR (or whatever tech comes about). So goes the cycle.

It amazes me that all of the fully-CG cutscenes from this series actually look better than the animation for something like the Mobile Strike ads (the ones without Arnold). Some kind of magic and caring has been lost.

I still have the original Mag CD this was on. The file name is called SIZZLE.AVI. Date stamped is 8th June 1998. Still a great trailer from a much loved GS - Westwood :'(

Must reinstall. As for the graphics, ye they were a disappointment, mainly due to the fact that Westwood screenshots looked a lot better than actual in game. But never mind that. Man do I remember waiting for the post to drop this off and Westwood pushing the release date further a few times, tough times.
