Thank you so much. I was able to close the sunroof but with a lot more force. Mercedes Benz was going to charge me $300.00 to manually close it and $2900.00 to replace the mechanical parts. I hardly use the sunroof feature, and I will never buy a Benz again.

When you replace those does it have to be calibrated?

When I’m driving the car will slow down stall and the dashboard will say put gear D in P, then I have to shut the car off and on again.

This worked for me. I have a 2015 w205 where only the right side worked and the left was stuck. I used a regular Allen wrench which made it a bit more difficult to turn as I had no leverage. I also used a flathead to tap it down. Soon as I started rotating it the glass started coming down. After that i used the button to bring it down but since it detected a fault it rose back up a bit. I just stopped it soon as I felt a good seal. Just need to test for water intrusion. Dealer was charging me 1k to bring it down.

I've had the same kind of issue on a 2014. Yet when I use the other key, it works just fine. Replaced the battery in the first FOB; still having some issues. Could it be related to that and not oil? Just changed oil recently, no leaking. All Synth oil.

My left side wont come down at all however right side i can push down any suggestions?

Why are there different part numbers for the coils on the different cylinders? What's the difference? I need to replace the number 5 coil.

Thank you!!! It worked on my 2014 Chrysler. Although the oil level wasn’t very low, it could be the oil change warning that I was seeing for several thousands of miles prior to this (didn’t know how to reset the warning). Just added 1/2 liter and reset the warning and it worked! Ran the car for another 500 miles - so far so good.

This happened to my 2014 CLA. The access point is under the passenger visor and takes a T25 torx. I'm still having an issue of the back being tilted (both sides). I tried tapping it with a flathead screw driver and mallet with no success. How can I get it loose? Those screws on the sides of the rear glide? Is there a way to force the tilt close if it does not want to move?

I have CLA 250 whose sunroof is stuck in closing. Front part goes all way to close but the back does not come down to sit so it is stuck in tilted mode. Can I close this manually from the motor? Where is the motor on CLA 250 for the sunroof not the blinds?

My passenger side wont tilt upwards and it only tilts on the left side. How can I get the right side to tilt in order for me to push back the glass and get to the screws to remove the glass panel completely and make the necessary repairs. Is anyone else having an issue with the back glass leaking? The part of the non-movable glass over the back seats? I discovered today while cleaning the car that the back glass is leaking into the headliner and now the roof won't open, but got stuck. I closed it with this video, but how can I fix the leak without the dealer? 2016 c300.

I had an issue where this year 200 would get a charge but not even crank over. Replaced the starter thinking that was it but still had the same issue. It was the ground strap. I’m having the issue in the video currently and this is great to know. Oil change time.

thanks dude, mine was stuck a lil bit and didnt seem as easy as you did it but i used a hammer for the last step with the flathead screwdriver and that freed it up. (for anyone out there in which just pressing on that hinge doesnt fold it down)

just had the same issues, good video problem fixed . another step if the screw driver does not push it down , unscrew the little screw on the hinge then use a hammer and screw driver . great video

Can you post a video to open it manually with 4 mm hex screw and show us please

Can someone help me find that tool please ? Allen 4mm search has only got me to a hex thing which didn’t fit exactly.

You did not check the oil level, WTF! And, that car is NASTY! Maybe some detailing will help 😂
