I think, coughing aside, his logic was out of whack. Take the last question, for example. Normally, we do cross-elimination, and at first, he was confident about one of C or D. Then, as soon as he heard the cough when he mentioned Googol, he quickly changed his stance, but he had no idea what that was. It was just out of the ordinary, and even the MC due was like you don't know what Googol is, and you're picking it. Someone should've analysis his utterances, it would've shown that he was cheating.

I would have guessed it that it was planned this way. Every time you hear a cough on correct answers, the host or the show team is an idiot or what ?

Imagine if that instead of coughing the cheater belted out farts, one fart for YES and two farts for NO.

One thing that I don't get about this is - why were they so sure that this coughing guy they bribed into helping them was going to know the right answers? They didn't know him, why trust that he knew the correct ones?

This came up on a feed the other day and I've been binge watching his vids since. I was in a company 10 years ago and there was a posh girl with the surname Ingram. I googled her name and guess who she turned out to be! Really nice girl though.

What if they purposely gave him a very easy million pound question because they got really suspicious and wanted to confirm that he was cheating by giving him a very easy question

There was also a moment during the £500,000 question where Tecwin can be heard almost wheezing which analysts believe was a priorly agreed upon signal to quit before it gets too suspicious. If so, Charles could’ve stopped right there and their probably would not have been enough evidence (or too much reasonable doubt) to convict him and he would’ve gotten away with it and left with £250,000. Extreme greed was his ultimate undoing.

He could have pulled this off, but he got greedy and let anxiety get the better of him by ruling out answers or claiming total ignorance of answers that he would later go on to pick. He also asked for confirmation coughs too many times in too many questions instead of just trusting the first one. He acted clueless and took enormous gambles with huge amounts of money when he could have acted like he thought he knew but was deliberating and merely reading the answers out loud as a nervous tic. Also, he couldn't get one damn answer right on his own; he needed help constantly from $32,000 onward and couldn't get even one on his own. Then he just had to go for the million and couldn't walk away with a more plausible $250k. What an idiot.

After humiliating himself with the A1 segment, he should've gone up to $32k, free guess, and then stopped at either result. He made himself look foolish even his wife is looking at him like an idiot. He's like a bank robber wearing bright orange clothing and wielding a kitchen knife as his weapon
