A real Christian doesn't dwell on that! He seeks the kingdom first and trusts God to give him what he needs! Not what he wants, but what he can survive with! I don't dwell on the worldly things: money, food, etc! My treasures are in heaven! With my Lord Jesus Christ!

Do you believe a true christian can be a soldier fighting a war for no reason like the war in Iraq? Obviously those soldiers were under false context that they had weapons of mass destruction which they didn’t so I don’t blame any of them. But should christian man go work a job that’s evil if that’s all they know how to do? Like do you think an engineer that knows how to build only weapons of war should work that job? I believe that you should work but if you have to rely on government assistance as you move to a good job away from an evil job that’s more than okay as most people can’t survive on minimum wage or even whatever a low skilled job would pay these days

The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words. 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 (KJV) For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. This is an error. Christians love to do this to other Christians, judge their christianity by their works and put a yoke of law on them which Christ died to erase. You’re getting too holy when you judging a Christian by some arbitrary law which you just made up. Almost everything has a pegan origin. Why would I try to justify myself by not watching a sport show. I don’t watch it, but I also think it is a grave error. You’re telling people that they need to justify themselves by following the conscience of another man. Justification isn’t in the law. Especially not a doctrine consisting of the commandments of men. There are people that teach Jesus’s name has pegan origins and it is supposed to be Yeshua and rebuke other Christians for “not having discernment.” Christians should be teaching Christians to focus on Jesus, not to focus on their sins. Why as a Christian do you teach false doctrines? You 100% do, and it is 100% provable, by clear scripture. A lot of them. Apparently you don’t have time to read my letter and open your eyes. I know why you do, because of weak and confused christianity today has produced this. Why would a born again christian have any part with a false doctrine? You see the error? I an setting myself as a bar of righteousness, if I don’t do it, then I can ridicule you for it, because the beams not in my eye right. Except it is, I just don’t perceive it. Which person of the Christian is not right with God by watching the olympics? Old man? Will he wver be right with God? Why is your focus on him, he’s dead, God is the God of the living.

i had an encounter with these people at the beginning of covid. a guy approached me while i was waiting for my wife to come out of a store she was in. i accepted an invite to a zoom bible study and during the bible study, one of the guys mentioned "god the mother". i googled that phrase and it told me everything i needed to know. i wrote a 3-page letter pointing out how every verse they use is out of context and how their doctrine is misleading. needless to say, they cut communication with me. i was accused of being combative but in my opinion, if you want me to believe your doctrine is correct, you need to prove it biblically and they could not. they talked about other books (like the green book) go into more details. my argument is that, if it's not in the bible, it's just someone else's words and opinion and it should not be the deciding factor when it comes to salvation. just know that they have an answer for everything and the confidence they have in those answers is what makes it hard to have a logic debate. as if any and everything you know about God and the bible is wrong, and they are the only ones with the real answers because they observe all the feast and the sabbath. i never joined, but my encounter was actually a blessing because the amount of reading i did to prove to these people that their doctrine is false brought me 100000000% times closer to God. the lesson that i learned and that i told them is that We must be ready to defend the gospel at all times. you never know when you'll be in a situation where you have to speak up and defend the truth and i'm glad i was able to do so. i said my piece and walked anyway with no regrets. i just pray that i planted a least one seed of doubt that'll hopefully grow and wake some of them up

The NRSV isn't a Catholic Bible. The NRSV, now NRSVue, is a modern, independent translation that follows the literal translation paradigm. There's a version of the NRSV that's been approved for Catholic use and contains the Catholic books in their proper place, but that's just the Catholic-specific subset of the NRSV. As for the argument you're trying to make here, if you'd consult the original Greek manuscripts you'd see that they don't contain the same wording the KJV does. You're trying to argue that something was removed, when in fact, something was added that wasn't originally there because of poor translations and personal agendas. A literal translation such as the NRSVue or NASB2020 or the LSB aim to accurately translate the earliest and best manuscripts that we have, and as such, don't have the extra wording added by the monks during their creation of the KJV. It's a shame how many self-proclaimed Christians go around thumping their Bibles and claiming this about it and that about it when in actuality they seem to know so little about it.

It doesn't matter. Hi, I want to preface this by saying That I appreciate your spirit in doing what your doing and I hope you keep it up! The esv version is based on much earlier manuscripts. Most of the manuscripts with the variant are from the ninth and tenth centuries with a single outlier from the fith, where as the witness for the esv and other modern trans are from the fourth and those manuscripts are considered of good character (e.g they are consistently cited because their scribs create less textual variants) Also the reason why the KJV, Geneva, Tyndale, and others have the varent and modern translations do not is because they were relying on Byzantine manuscripts (manuscripts created well into the medieval period). Erasmus heavily relied on these manuscripts when collecting the textus receptus. If you want an internal reason, it would be odd if Christ replied it is written and it is said before and after this and said get behind me satan in the middle. Why only rebuke him in the middle and not all through out or at least the end? It seems much more likely that yhe scribe of these later manuscripts had Matthew 4:10 in mind where Christ does rebuke Satan at the last temptation by prefacing it is written with be gone Satan. Again really appreciate what you're doing, here is a good resource on textual Criticism th-cam.com/video/Doi8JxJOtgE/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=HouseformApologetics Futher good resources are a na28 (you don't need to know greek as you can use the blue letter bible interlinear online) which is helpful as it will give you all of the variants and their manuscripts in the apparatus at the bottom and the trxt of the Mew Testament by bruch Metzger. Hope you have a blessed day!

Earlier does not mean better. Priests would bury manuscripts that were deemed false. True manuscripts were used regularly and as a result they would deteriorate. So, that is why "younger" manuscripts are accurate representations of God's word, while a "older" false manuscript would be excavated and presumed erroneously as "more" accurate.

Answer: The phrase 'but by every word of God' does not exist in original Greek for verse 4, chapter 4 of the Gospel of Luke. That phrase was erroneously added to the Greek Textus Receptus by Desiderius Erasmus. The Textus Receptus was used by the English translators of the King James Version. Whereas, modern English translations use the Critical Text or the Majority Text.

I pray sir that you accept this with Love.

@@TheBACNetwork The truth must be defended against people who speak lies. If you cared about the truth, then you would have taken time to research the subject. On the subject of Salvation, no one is saved until they have been saved. To be saved, you must repent of your sins and obey the commandments. If you persist to the end, then you will be saved. You claim to be a reader of the Holy scriptures? How is it that you don't know what is required for salvation? Can you cite a single verse where an Apostle says, I was saved on such and such a date or year? My friend, you have much to learn and very little time to learn it.

The King James Version of the Protestant Bible has 160+ textual errors. The Old Testament of the King James Version is based on the Masoretic Text (MT). The MT removes several prophesies about Jesus that offended Jewish Rabbis. Why compare versions of English translations? Why not compare the underlying text (LXX, SP, DSS, and MT); or at least look at a direct translation like the interlinear (e.g. MOUNCE)? Then ask the question why was the text changed? The answer is one of the following A) textual criticism, or B) copyright. The purpose of textual criticism is to reconstruct the original text as closely as possible. Bible scholars compare all 750+ copies to the earliest copies known to exist. Textual criticism is needed because the process of copying manuscripts sometimes resulted in typographical errors. Through textual criticism, it was discovered that a few scribal notations were added to columns and later incorporated into the text. Those have been removed from more recent translations.
