Plumber's Tip - You don't need the special removal tool. Just screw the Knob bolt back in without the Knob and pull on the bolt "the cartridge will come right out" - if you don't forget to remove the pin.

Do the obvious--clean the entire exhaust vent to the outside. The corrugated hose is not the entire issue. Toss it and install a metal vent line. The vent is plugged.

What if you let go of the lever for it to turn off, but it sputters for about 30 seconds to a minute afterwards? Legit had this happen more than once at the Douglas house

Can you do this without turning off main water valve? Long story short, turned off main water valve and water kept running, instead of contact ting the city about the water, and saving myself time and trouble, I was wondering if it is possible if at all, to do this, without turning off the main water? Thank you

for ours it was a clogged dryer exhaust. or vent or flapper or whatever its called when it exhausts to the outside. i see that tends too do it alot.

When I plug in my dryer the circuit pops out.

The outlet is now sparking and has sent an electrical current into my body as i pass out! I wake up and realize my electrical outlet won't work anymore...
