This was the third Conversations Series event of the fall 2024 semester. We are in exciting times of rapid technological developments, particularly fueled by AI and Extended Reality (an umbrella term for virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality). Various pioneers and futurists suggest that the “killer app” will be a fusion of AI with XR. In this CfD conversation, we discussed how this fusion can be realized with the help of design in a responsible, societally impactful manner.
