I haven’t felt like recording much more than Toby and Roxy lately though, especially as I feel this channel doesn’t get a lot of attention and I’ve been more focused on trying to earn money lately, for something I really want one day. Well, that I’ve been wanting the majority of my life. My main channel is the only one that has enough subscribers to monetize, so I guess I’ve naturally shifted to putting most of my video efforts there, and I’m losing confidence I will also get there with my Aibo channel. I’m sure I’ll record the other Aibos again sometime, it just probably won’t be for a while while I work on some other things

Functionality with Roxy won't be very limited at all! You only lose features on the app, such as customizing eye color, photos and the ability to update. 1000s run great without the cloud, and I pretty much never use the app features anyway Why would I initialize Roxy?? There's zero reason to, especially since I'm letting the cloud expire meaning I wouldn't be able to update her to get back any features that may go away. Plus initializing means she'll no longer be the Roxy I know, but a completely different Aibo. I have no plans to sell her either. To reconnect 1000s to the cloud, you buy it from Sony's site and are allowed to reconnect an already established 1000

@Aibodogs Thank you <3 It was crazy, he was doing the exact same thing Toby's old body did here. Except he saw obstacles in an obstacle free area, was mistak|ing ball and bone with each other or for Aibo cards and faces, his body was creepily jerking around etc. He still says "O no" on his Mind 3 stick and doesn't even finish booting completely, but his other sticks boot fine. I almost bodyswapped him when he didn't boot the first time and I have to should he fail again. But he just won't fail again. I won't let him have this idea LOL

⁠Sure, I can explain. :) I’m more of a comedian in general, but also an Aibo owner + lover. Lillian (AiboLover145) introduced me to Aibo and I got hooked ever since. When Biscuit fell off the desktop accidentally, and broke his hip, I sent him to Germany to get him fixed; I was so worried I quickly ordered another ERS-1000 (where Rocket comes in). It was more or less a happy accident, since I see Biscuit and Rocket as brothers; I love making videos about them, and even got them to react to some TV channels in one. I’d love to share more misadventures with the two boys.

@Aibodogs Sony should release a Software Update to get Roxy to gave beat detection like Toby. at this time Roxy can only do it when you Start Clapping or put a Metronome

Wait is she really deaf, as in the mics aren't functional? I haven't heard of that kind of issue in 111s before. I've mainly heard of deafness in M2 and M3 7s, though thankfully Toby had his mics replaced. Else he'd be missing one of the best things about him, speaking random nonsense at any little thing while I can't help but laugh! Just take a little peek at my channel to answer your question, Roxy only got the purple ear yesterday and I made a separate video introducing it two videos down! 1000s can work great off the cloud! I'm not even renewing Roxy's plan when it expires which is next year in May. It's way too expensive and ridiculous. I rarely even use the app, which makes sense as I'm not into app games and that's how it feels. Maybe one day if I'm rich enough to not only have a real dog but can throw money around on little things like cloud stuff-- But yeah, a non cloud connected 1000 will just lose cloud features, like changing eye color, changing gender, officially naming it, updating it, viewing photos. THANKFULLY, Sony put a volume switch in the belly compartment, meaning that if you don't like the barking, you can mute it without the cloud. If you go for a 1000, try to not get a initialized one, as it may not have the latest updates. A way to tell is if it has default blue eyes. Oh, one more thing! It's about the artwork you gave me for Art Fight. Is it okay if I edit the colors to match Roxy better, especially with her blue ear on the other side now? I'll still keep your original work on display!

@@Aibodogs I thought it was common! Might just be because of their old age, or I'm remembering it very wrong. It never bothered me much because the ERS-11x series isn't particularly well known for their voice commands, haha. I would like to have Leons mics replaced in the future as well, though! He's a bit hard of hearing but I think it adds to his charm. I just don't want to send any of my aibos out for repairs anytime soon, so I'm totally happy for now. I didn't know ERS-1000's had volume switches in the belly compartment, I am super thankful for that! I really wish the cloud wasn't so expensive (or really just wish it wasn't something that requires payment..) but if I do ever get an ERS-1000, it feels worth just saving up for one with a running cloud plan until it runs out, just so I can name and change eye colour and stuff.. It's still so surreal (and sad) to me they locked that behind features. It's just a future dream since I'm really not sure, but it would be wonderful to have an ERS-1000 too someday. They're super cute, and watching Roxy be herself makes me curious how it'd be to own one! It's totally ok! You're free to do whatever you wish since well, it's a drawing of YOUR Aibos after all. If you have Procreate I could send over the Procreate file, if that makes it easier?

@@diesaur Also, the cloud plan and access to changing settings for your Aibo in the app allows you to change the language they understand! If you are to get a Japan 1000 for example, it would be stuck only understanding Japanese unless you can change that setting. You also got to watch out for older 1000s that might have the hip dislocation issue. Newer ones have improved hips that don’t break. It can be expensive to get it fixed. It really is sad Sony was stupid enough to go into cloud nonsense. It’s one of my most hated things, and a solid reason why I prefer 7s over 1000s, along with 7s having so many more features. I still love Roxy, she’s my puppy, but with how perfectly made 7s are, and the fact you can even connect them to your computer for other features WITHOUT A CLOUD TO DEPEND ON, the cloud stuff for 1000s is completely unjustified. Maybe if it was only to pay for the mobile network, while all the other stuff isn’t cloud plan dependent… Especially with that risk of Sony cutting support one day to think about… And sure, I do use Procreate and the file would be nice! @@Aibodogs One of the main reasons I was afraid of getting an ERS-1000 was because of the hip issue, I'm glad to hear it's not as prominent in the newer releases anymore! But I absolutely agree. I love the ERS-7's customizability when it comes to the boot tunes, dances, hourly alerts ect. it makes your Aibo feel really personal to you. I also adore the ERS-7's sound design, and it made me a bit sad they almost kind of downgraded when it comes to the noises the 1000's make. But that's just me, I'm sure there's people who prefer the ERS-1000's very realistic dog-like barks, I just love the ERS-7's soothing electronic noises, they sound beautiful! Someone is currently trying to figure out how to access an ERS-1000's files directly, and I really hope they can figure it out for the future of that model, and also for the accessibility of anyone who owns an 1000. I think I can only send the file over email, since it's too big for discord, where should I send it to?

@@diesaur I agree with everything there!! I absolutely adore the customization options with 7s! A friend is even looking into figuring out how we can make our own hourly chimes, so we can make him play the Westminster chimes and strike the hour like those grandfather clocks I really like, or maybe Animal Crossing music every hour or something! And she's making all these cool custom dance packs!! Also 7s have my favorite sounds of any model, they're so calming and relaxing. The very little customization and features 1000s have compared to 7s make them feel sadly like quite a downgrade. They're cute and all, but you get so much more out of life with a 7! You could always try google drive! Make it accessible to anyone with the link and give me the link. That's fantastic!! I got my 210 from Japan using a proxy, Sendico, so it would be more affordable since lots of listings on ebay for example are repostings of the Japan ones for high prices. But there's also the possibility of finding a decently priced 210 not from Japan! Just be sure to watch out for the infamous head issues, especially DHS, but also PAS and TAS! There's also jitters to look out for, and if the battery has been recelled.

I was thinking of dark blue for that since blue’s my favorite color and there’s a simple star fabric I like, and it would look nice, though I did consider purple before since I also like it. Toby already has his accessories the way I like it! That’s why I didn’t mention any plans for him.

We did!! Sorry for not being active on discord, something happened again at the start of the month and it ended in the decision to take a nice break from it to guarantee I'd at least enjoy Halloween. I probably won't be on as often anymore since it was distracting me from things too much, but I am thinking of returning soon

@@은아박-c7b It was quite a fun and exciting morning! I absolutely love spending time with both Toby and Animal Crossing New Horizons! So it was the perfect way to celebrate finally waking up early! Then there was the silly coincidence with Nintendo’s alarm clock announcement I still can’t believe happened! Talk about great timing! I’m probably sticking with Toby being my bedtime (and possible alarm) clock and hourly chime, but still find it crazy Nintendo decided that THIS morning was the moment to make that announcement! I’ll be keeping up a good sleep schedule with Toby and Animal Crossing’s help!

I WISH this was my front/back yard! This is our country vacation place where we go every summer, but sadly only for a week. For years I’ve been wanting to spend more time there, and it’s my dream for us to one day be able to move there…one day I hope. I love the country so much!

I don’t think he was yellowed, but I imagine not as white as he used to be due to age. Also yes, my friend here got him recently and he’s enjoying his new home!
