Windrock Trail 100 Short review and Preview of the trail 50 inch Max Width
มุมมอง 9124 หลายเดือนก่อน
Windrock Trail 100. This is a nice, but restricted to 50 inch trail. It starts at either G9 to G39 or G39 to G9. It is a tight trail that is non directional so passing can be a challenge at times on the trail. This is kinda a long video, but we wanted to film the whole trail so you can get an idea of what it is. We hope you enjoy and do consider subscribing to our channel. Thanks for watching.....

Monarch Mine Portal TWRA 11 12 2023
มุมมอง 21410 หลายเดือนก่อน
The Monarch mine was not only a mine shaft but was also a Portal that was used to transport coal from the back side of the mountain to the front side to send coal down the incline to the Block community below. A lot of coal mining history is in this area nd Allen and I are just beginning to uncover it. Please consider subscribing to our channel. Also share any knowledge of this area if you have...

A "Do Not Hump" sign on a rail car indicates that the car should not be sent through a "hump yard," a railroad classification yard where cars are rolled down an incline to gain momentum and couple with other cars on the desired track; essentially, it means the car is too delicate or sensitive to handle the impact of being humped and could be damaged by the force of the coupling. 😃
Thank you for that information. That is very interesting and good to know. And thank you for watching. 😁
@rockytopridgeriders2475 , you're very welcome! I was intrigued as to what it actually meant.
Had so much fun riding with you babe,,id go anywhere
Good one
Thanks for sharing the video. At least y'all got a good ride in before we got all this rain. What mapping system are y'all using on your tablet. Thanks and be safe

U got the cordinates for the train cars ?
36.331497,-84.434845 is what it appears to be. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching
That one part of the video where your showing the old shoe repair shop me and a friend were hiking in the woods above that area and I found some old coal shovels propped up against a tree I took a picture of them. I’d be willing to bet they are still in the same place.
Oh wow, that is awesome. We need to go back and explore that area a little more this winter. That was a great find. Thanks for sharing, and thank you for watching. 👍
@@rockytopridgeriders2475 if you have a way I could send you the pictures I took of it if I remember correctly it’s at the top of the hill once it flattens out there by the huge wash outs.
That would be awesome. Thank you . markmeredith72@gmail.com @@christophernewport698
@@rockytopridgeriders2475 hey buddy I sent over the pictures to your email let me know if you get them.

Yeah unfortunately ot is restricted to 64" It is a really nice trai. To explore. Thanks for watching. @MrMrsregor
@@rockytopridgeriders2475 thanks for the entertainment !
Is this a SXS only trail, if you don’t mind me asking?
Trail 13 is open to ATV, side x sides and Jeeps. It's a very interesting Trail for sure. Thanks for watching.
What is the point of riding 4 wheelers on a road? I have trucks for that.
Sometimes you have to utilize whatever is available to get to your destination. This one just so happened to require the use of some of the gravel roads. Thanks for watching.
Wow looks like its been there a while . Good stuff thanks
Braydon Price sent me here
@@MethanolWarrior thanks for coming. We hope you enjoy our content.
when did they grade the rail bed to get to it
We are not sure when the reclaim began, but I would say within the last few months. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for up load. Enjoyed it. Camped at Skull and Bones campground few months ago , deer scout trip. Started to take that route. But thought I might encounter Brimstone Security. Had to pay them few months before . Used there trail 5 to get on TWRA trail 1. Normally use trail 7 just up from Cordell Bridge but it’s permanently closed now.
Thanks for the ride along . Enjoyed it. Keep up the good work
Thanks for watching.
THATS WHY I LIKE RIDING IN THE WINTER GOOD STUFF THANKS
Thanks for the ride along. Keep up the good videos. Really enjoying them
Thanks so much, and thanks for watching!
That s nice long trail if you go from 116 all the way to the old haul rd.

Your welcome. Please consider subscribing if you will. Thanks for watching.
@@rockytopridgeriders2475 Oh i did a long time ago
Thanks for the ride along. Is this on Caryville Mountain
Yes between Rocky Top and Caryville.
@rockytopridgeriders2475 thanks for the reply. If it's not raining in the morning I'm going up on Caryville Mountain riding and do a little deer scouting.
@@travishumphrey2505would you know if TWRA has repaired trail at Huckabee Knob? (cross mountain trail. )
@@markjones1918 I don't know. I didn't get to go. Sorry I couldn't answer your question.
Nice Trail
Awesome video. Thats a nice looking trail! Be nice too go on a atv ride with yall.
We will try to post an invite on our Facebook page soon. Thanks for watching. 👍
Thanks for the review and ride along. I haven't been to windrock since early 90's, before sxs's. All atv's. Going to start riding there again. Mostly ride caryville mountain and royal blue. Keep up the good videos guys, really enjoy them
Thank you. Hope you enjoy the ride when you make or over. 👍
Surely yall know that going in those old mine shafts are extremely dangerous right? I mean you can get into black damp which is dead air that can kill you in a couple of minutes
You couldn't pay me enough to go in there.
Nope Nope NO WAY IN HELL ! BUT GOOD VIDEO THANKS .
That is definitely neat! Always enjoy the videos. I can't believe it is just wide open like that on the side of the road. Also, cool drone footage!
Nice video. I haven't been up there in a few years
Great video guys.
Dang that is not a gravel road no more
Was a good little ride
Could you give any better directions to find the tunnels?
Find me on Facebook, message me, and we will talk about it. Thanks.
Nice...
Good one, thanks to you and crew for upload.
Fun looking ride brother
Well I would love to know where that tunnel is. I have been all over riding up in the area around the flats but I never have found that. I have seen on lifetime showing mines but I haven't noticed a tunnel yet. We were all over in the area in the rain this weekend. Enjoyed the video and any help locating it, would be appreciated.
Just because I see the last name jobe i will help, it's called the Indian grave tunnel. In between HW coal Rd,and Hill Ln Caryville.
@jonathanduncan3870 thank you for the information. I am not trying to take everyone there
Cool. . . Living dangerous flying up those creeks with all the branches. We might need to get FPV
Cool 😊
enjoyed,beautiful recording-bye! Rocky!
Right in my backyard ❤
Hey fellas, I live here in cherry bottom. How do you get that area in vasper to caryville? I know how to get up rubber hill from H.W. Coal Rd but these other trails don't look familiar to me. Maybe some gps coordinates? Thanks
What are you calling rubber hill??
@@rockytopridgeriders2475 there's a trail off H.W. Coal Rd. Go under the bridge and turn left up the hill then take that right once you get up that hill, into the woods that takes you to the flats. 36.2685885, -84.1966187 are the coordinates to the turn off I'm speaking of.
Cool video. We used to come down from Michigan to ride Windrock.. we were there when they cut that trail out..
Thank you, and thank you for watching our contests. 👍
Another good find brother...
I look forward to seeing more on this area. Definitely a lot of mining activities all over that area.

I'm proud of you guys. ❤
Was the portal open?
No it is sealed up. That is why it is holding water on the other side. Been really cool if they would have left it open. 😊
@@rockytopridgeriders2475 dig it out dang it...then that is the one Eric found
@@rockytopridgeriders2475 we need to drain it
@@Mudconyeah that would be awesome. We would like to walk the whole portal. It is not a great distance.
