Took my suburban to fire stone and they wanted to charge me $400 to put those pins in need us to say I’ll be doing it tomorrow and save the 400

Do you have down pressure or just let it float?

I have a smaller 1023e john deere and it was 11,000 new. It works amazing for my 5 acres especially with the front end loader. I have a plow but i need to buy a used disc because rototillers are stupid expensive even used. But i love my 1023e for my gardens and dirt work that i do on my land.

Nice setup. I like using non-light heating sources to allow them (and me) to maintain a normal sleep rhythm (and me too, since they sleep in my room). When I switched from the red light to a heating plate at night, my chicks grew substantually faster too!

I think I have that same disc, got it for $500 as well....and I use a 25hp kubota....so a lot cheaper than your tractor.

That’s what I was thinking I run my tractor in 6/8 gear 7th gear dies after about 60 feet but 6th gear at about 2100 RPM produces 35hp and churns that dirt like nobody’s business but it’s only a 5’ at about 450lbs you have to go fast to tear deep and throw dirt

How long would you keep that brooder going for? What age for the birds?

You could put them in just after day old's and they can stay in there until fully feathered( 6 plus weeks}.

What kind of bulb is used is there under cover?

    • @canadianfarmer1644

I use 175 watt flood lamps with a red color lense, The red bulb really helps keep them from pecking at each other.

Reviving my old 6 foot Case to rehab a soy field and put back orchard grass. Double disk then till if necessary. Springtooth maybe, broadcast and roll. Wish me luck

This was an excellent video, and a nice reassurance, that me starting my incubator in mid march here in Sweden, is not too early. Nice setup you have.
