Just come home from 5 weeks in this glorious spot on the Sunny Coast,walking ,cycling and swimming in the sea in July. Paradise !!!
Tourist trap. Everywhere else such as Redcliffe is far better, not pretentious and selling $50 coffee.
Beautiful place. But I didn't realize there were so many rocks on the northern end.

There used to be a caravan park there on the waterfront. What is there now looks good.

I would love to see Mooloolaba. I have been to Australia 4 times, but not yet to the Sunshine Coast. It is a place I want to see.

Mooloolaba is not In Caloundra. They are both beachside suburbs on the Sunshine Coast Qld

i spent a lot of time there in the 60's. before the cyclone and before it was rebuilt. it's certainly not a small town anymore. bit sad in a way
