I have a longhaired yellow cat that looks pretty much identical to this one. She sleeps on my slippers. I have two pair so I can have a pair to wear while she dozes. Every few days we swap.

Bad cat-proofing is evident here. Don't put fragile things where a kitteh can jump up. Because a kitteh will jump up onto anything they can. This is a lesson learned the hard way. I had a set of fragile wineglasses hung by their feet high in an entertainment center in a space designed for that purpose. Very pretty, I liked it very well, especially with the backlight on. So did my kitteh. That was the end of the wine glasses. After a high jump like that a cat is a fast-moving wrecking ball of a cat. Your appreciation of beauty does not count in catifying your space to share it with a kitteh.

Cat is simply performing a public service by clearing space for the feet of people sitting on the sofa. No evidence of a crime here.

One of my cats knocked over and smashed a 24 inch TV in the living room. Ever since, all my TVs are bracketed to the wall, to revent a recurrence.
