Trauma, PTSD, and Music Therapy
I had a HUGE trauma trigger last night and was in a really bad space mentally. I couldn't eat, I was struggling to breathe, and couldn't stop crying. I ended up turning on some music as a distraction which eventually slowed down the flashbacks. Music is a great form of therapy so I thought I would share with you. When using singing as a form of therapy, it can get emotional so the pitch isn't always spot on, but it makes me feel better and that is what is important. I own no rights to this song.

It is often hard to see all of the small blessings surrounding you every day when you suffer from a chronic illness. When you're constantly sick, it is hard to see any positivity in life. Here are just a few things I am thankful for.

I have POTS. Not the kind you store with your pans, or the kind you smoke. Here is a simple intro to how POTS affects my life.

I apologize the video is 2 hours late to be uploaded! I am usually super on top of things being on time, but as you can see in the video, I am simply fried. Chronic illness combined with a full-time job is a very hard balance. I was going to edit this video a bunch to make me seem more put together and functional, but that wouldn't be showing the real me. So, here is a vulnerable, honest view i...

October is Dysautonomia Awareness Month so I wanted to shed some light on the condition and give a little bit of information. Since this video will be the second to last video being posted in October I wanted to give some information before the month was over. I did a spooky makeup look to go along with the short informational section. I hope you enjoy because I had fun making it.

Left it in the way of you are planning on time - that’s fine! OMG, I think you’re doing so well as it is never mind uploading on time!. Take care of yourself... Great video - I absolutely love your electrically heating hot water bottle! I live in Australia 🇦🇺 and I have been trying to get either something like that although I didn’t know it existed: or just a electric heating pad. I can get an electric heating pad but I know that you guys in the US can get way better ones. Yes I could buy one and use a current converter like you would if you were bringing your electrical stuff to Australia for a visit. But it just seems a bit dubious doing it long term (especially with something of that nature). So I will give you a hot water bottle and a search on Amazon.au. Found your calling circle of balls (can’t think of its correct name) adorable and practical. I fully understand that you can’t afford the custom ring splints as they are heaven forbid expensive: I just pray that you’re not getting any blisters or anything like that from yours but by the sounds of things yours are working great. Which is the result we need regardless of where they came from. Some of this set best stuff I’ve got has come from cheap shops - including leggings /PJ pants, you don’t need to spend a fortune to be comfortable. I found your list extremely thorough and well put together. Love the beads. I’ve been desperately trying to get a handmade blanket, I can’t find anywhere in Australia. I contacted a company which I won’t name here in the US and they offered to send me one in November- I haven’t heard anything since. I offered to pay for shipping and some materials.. I just can’t find any companies. Anyway thought your list was awesome - job well done I’d say! 🧚🏼‍♀️🌈🦋💐🌹🇦🇺⭕️❌⭕️❣️
