Strange weather patterns this year provided north westerly winds and messy wave conditions most days. Waitara was the pick on Monday for some cross-onshore bump and jumping. Made the 8 hour pilgrimage from Auckland to Wellington a month ago for the first time ever in 24 years, finally got a video put together of the dawn raid at Plimmerton with Julien Huteau on 3.4m, me on 4.0m and well powered up, super easy and fun place to windsurf! Highly recommended!

South westerly breeze with zero waves at Waitara forced us to look elsewhere... New Plymouth and Weld Road were also flat as, thankfully Baylys came through with head high waves and cross on shore wind for a relatively relaxed and fun session. Who would have thought of sailing at Baylys on a South Westerly!
