To be honest, I don't believe any souls stuck in the coins can be brought back or released, unfortunately. Maybe using the coin up at least ends their suffering?
@@danielstanway2600Actuality, according to Descent Into Avernus (5e adventure), is possible to free a soul from a soul coin, I don't know if you can do it in game, or others editions. The, now, free soul goes to their god's afterlife or the outer plane that match their alignment better. A lawful evil soul, however, will always end up as a lemure in the nine hells.
She really displays some addict-like behaviours when the coins come up. I imagine it's quite a rush to pachinko a soul into your V8 heart furnace.
Never had to use a soul coin, guess I'm just built different.
