If you have two semesters then usually the first one is from Feb to May/June and the second semester is from July to December, this includes the exams too. Your normal study and classes semesters are 3 months long followed by exams.

@@therealeditrix this year I have completed my 12th and given JEE (which I qualified) and getting NITS too but the main problem is I am not getting my desired branch here so want to apply outside India for my ug course . So can u pls tell me the process for applying for this University as it's clearly mentioned on their website u cannot directly apply as Indian citizen and one more Q is IELTS req for admission. My preferred branch is computer science.

@@tanveesingh5588 I am sorry, where is it mentioned you can't apply as an Indian? I know Indian students who are studying undergrad at Unimelb, so I am not sure what you are referring to. @@herio7776 Oh yeah, not having a rental history does reduce the chances a bit but it's not impossible. Maybe a sharehouse would be a good option to begin with. Also, if you have a full-time job with a good salary then chances increase as well. Where do you live currently?

This is in CBD. This is a normal rental apartment and they look at your rental history and need you to visit the apartment before booking. I wouldn't recommend this particular area though. You can look up rental sites to see what suits you.
