Unfortunately, I do not have the Troika leather in my collection. I only have Togo leather, which I know is not rare or the most luxurious, but seems to be very wearable… I want to get the goats leather or box leather in my next purchase! That’s the ones I keep an eye for, but thank you for the tip, I will definitely look into Troika now 😍

The undertone is very special… I love Kelly retourne as well! I prefer it to sellier actually especially in the smaller sizes! I managed to get my first bag without much trouble to be honest, but ever since that purchase, trying to build a relationship with someone in Hermes with that flow of tourists has been practically impossible me… so getting another bag basically after the first one is very very hard… that’s why I kind of wish I could just have a wishlist and just wait for the bag to arrive. They do not even take wishlists here…

Oh I love the clash collection!!! I have a ring from their collection and the earrings have been on my wishlist for so so long! I am a tiny bit afraid that they will be too heavy to wear often though… but stunning for sure!

I am not sure why exactly, but in my experience, the more expensive the shoe is- the longer it takes to break it in 😅 perhaps it’s the leather that is used that is thicker and more rigid… But yes, some brands are better than others and don’t hurt that bad at the beginning of wearing 😊

You are so right! Absolutely not! things are made to be used and loved, not cherished, it’s so unnecessary! I mainly do not wear my bags ATM in Paris, because I do not feel safe walking around with them when I am alone unfortunately… What I meant by « everyone has the same bag » is that style is so much more than a designer bag… style is something so personal to me and I want it to be reflected more in my personal choice of accessories, having said that, I love wearing particularly my Birkin, I think it adds so much to the outfit, especially to the casual one:) At the moment, actually Constance is on my wishlist, which is a more casual bag and can be worn crossbody, hopefully I’ll be able to get it soon 😊 I feel like it would be a perfect everyday bag 😍

But for now I think I would prioritize getting the panther watch in gold and earrings ( I don’t have a single pair)☺️

Good tip! I sometimes do the same 😅 It’s a pricy choice though, to go for the biggest size 😊 Oh it’s just 1 ring that I got in a wrong size, the rest are manageable depending on the season and temperature ☺️ wearing rings in the summer is not the same as wearing them in winter time for me…

So true, bigger is not necessarily better… I cannot wear rings safely that are a bit loose during the winter time, when it’s cold the fingers get so much smaller 🤔

Are you getting the same version or the one with diamonds?😍 Regarding the sizing, i just double checked, my juste un clou, clash and panther are all size 55. I like to wear them on my index finger and out of all of them, I would say that panther is the tightest ( perhaps due to its shape or because it runs smaller compared to all of them, it is hard to tell) and I would personally size up now if I could... Having said that, it is always best to try it on the store or at least look at the measuring table on their website, it seems to be pretty accurate😌 I hope that helps! @@sofialyyk I never take a shower with my jewelry on, but I know my sale associate warned me about water. But it's been two years now and it still looks the same. Maybe it's because it's a necklace ? I know the VCA 5 motifs bracelet in malachite is veeery fragile. Gorgeous, but fragile, as we do wash our hands and water / sweat can touch the stones. But it's my favourite necklace. I have the VCA Alhambra one motif pendant in mother of pearl, which I love too, but my Amulette is my fave. I love Cartier rose gold. The Clash earrings are gorgeous, especially the bigger hoops, but a bit heavy & pricey unfortunately !

@@sofialyyk Yes I exchanged it at the boutique. I bought the small one in Paris but I was able to complete the exchange at a boutique when I returned to the US.

That’s interesting, did you get a tax back? Because I was told when I was back in Paris that there are no exchanges of turns if I bought something abroad and got a tax back 🤔

@@sofialyyk Yea I got the tax back but I was told that I would only be credited the retail price for the exchange and would have to pay the difference from the small JUC with diamonds to the regular JUC no diamonds.

Oh that’s interesting. You got credited retail price which is higher than you paid in the first place right? I was told there absolutely no way they can exchange the item if it was bought abroad and I got tax back… and that was in their main store in Paris 🤯 Maybe it’s a French law, not sure, but it seems like there are ways around

I find it comfortable to sleep in, but I do wear it nail head up, the other way around it’s pretty uncomfortable for me. But I am sure you would get used to it, how much time did you give it before you returned them?

@@sofialyyk About a week for each. I tried the diamond versions, then the small one with just gold. I would last about 3 hrs a day but it was so uncomfortable pinning my skin. I couldn't tested out longer becasue if the bracelet showed scratches then I wouldn't be able to return it. How long did it take you to get use to the bracelets? thx :)

I would say that I took me a couple of weeks to get used to the bracelet. But I do have to wear it only one way, nail head facing up, otherwise the nail head is hurting my hand… But now I find it very comfortable when I wear it nail head up, do not even notice it is there anymore 😊

@@sofialyyki I have had mine for a year with nail head away from my LOVE bracelets. Either way I wear it, upside or down, it still snags on towels and sweaters.

When I wear mine nail head up, meaning the end at the hand, it catches on things much less than the other way around. Not sure why exactly But yes, this model will catch either way, love it though! It’s such an elegant but edgy design, so timeless too at the same time😊 one of my favorite from Cartier 😍

There is no need to cry about the bag being stolen and then actually use it, then please come to *condup* to find out, why are so many Birkin bags kept in the closet by women who are afraid of using them? If you think about it carefully, it does make sense to follow in the footsteps of a rich woman.

I was told everytime I went that I had to apply through the online system… but then again, everytime I had an appointment in the past I saw a different person. Did you take your S.A. info during one of the appointments ? Or how did you manage to have an S.A. in the first place?

@@sofialyyk I met her when I got an appointment a couple of years ago and I have been working with her since. Which boutique do you go to? I'd recommend going to Sevres, the SA's are very open about sharing their info. I haven't gone to FSH in years.

Everytime I go to Sevre, because this is my local store that I live next to… they tell you appointment are ONLY given through the online system. Despite the fact that I shopped in the boutique quite a bit at this point, they keep saying the same thing. So not sure how to approach it at this point 😔

If you could find an artisan who could make a Birkin bag, like *condup* , and if you had the opportunity to buy the exact same Hermès leather, same hardware, and pay a tenth of that, I highly doubt you would buy it ethically

When I first entered the workforce, I wanted to make a good impression, but I didn't want to incur more than I could afford. Finally, through the recommendation of my colleague *condup* , the bag I bought was in line with my professional image and did not bring any financial burden to me.

I totally agree with you! It makes sense building the collection if you are a fan of their design and heritage! I love the panther collection as well! It’s so stunning and special☺️ but to be fair I love all their designs, cannot even pick a favorite 🤭 But Trinity and Panther are such staple collections! Great choice! The love collection I love for the bracelet, it is officially my most worn and comfortable piece of jewelry… love having it on my wrist without taking it off😊
