Excellent video. This is absolute truth. Go for the A6700, mechanical shutter and IBIS. Nuff said. The ZV-E10ii is a scam. Suck it Sony. Such an embarrassment.
Thank you legend, I couldn't agree more. It legit is, it's such a joke. There's zero chance they make a third generation.
Wow, wasn’t expecting such a helpful and wise video. You’ve learned a lot, good on ya. Thanks mate
Thanks for watching legend! Many lessons learnt, and many more yet to learn 🫡
Smashed the sub, I like your rant haha
I appreciate that mate, cheers!
I just bought my first camera this week! Went with the OG zve10
Legit the best purchase mate! I still use it till this date to shoot content for my business across socials, and for content across 3 TH-cam Channels!
A6700 is $1700 now in JBHI
Yeah I seen it! That's an incredible price IMO!
@@EdwardChlela Yes! I am thinking to buy it now in addition to my zve10
@igornikonov3187 - Sick combo! A6700 Main cam and ZVE-10 B cam!
🎉😮
Agreed this leg press machine for me also is brilliant, load it up, and do full range of motion, and on another ill do partials, like 10 sets, 10 reps, shoet rests between for the pump, then leg ext.
ayyyyy bruz whut da fuck is up wif my tempo brah?
Fucking lit 🔥🔥
hmm...so ding my podcast i currently have the Canon m50. I am looking to upgrade. zve10ii/a6700/fx30....which would you suggest for me and this channel? thanks.
An A6700 no questions asked! It's the best option by far IMO!
@ I knew you were gonna say that lol OK, thank you very much. I appreciate the answer and reply.
I’d agree - make sure you get the Ulanzi fan tho and plan to use it. I do that with the ZVE1
I think high prices in Australia have to do with the countries import tariffs, not Sony.
Very smart mate, I didn't even think about this!
hi friend, you can for me address of this place, thanks
Like a Bunnings sausage sizzle
Yea, you are not a camera guy so you wont uderstand why 10bit is worth extra money. I my country it has similar price to A6400 (new) so not bad
I truly don't know wtf you're talking about. It's a camera aimed at videopgraphers (no viewfinder and mechanical shutter) with internal 10bit 4.2.2, quite less rolling shutter, better af than zv e10, and more... at just 30% more the price. What is there to complain about? The zv e10 is a good camera, great actually if all you want to do is blog, but if you want a bit more, the zv e10 ii is just what you need. Insane value for the price. So ppl, just be honest, if and only if you're gonna use the 10bit, go for the zv e10, or wait for the fuji coming out in november.
thanks for being the one making sense here. I do understand that the price difference is a heavy pill to swallow. But the rand about the camera and was/is a a bit of a cheap shot. 10 bit and the bigger battery make it worth the price vs the zv e1. Not even talking about the improved sensor. so sorry edward hard can't agree on the camera can on the price thing
I agree😊
The majority do too!
it doesnt even have soft skin like the previous model so definitely wont be buying it
Trueee, didn't even notice that
The ZV-E10II still has soft skin.
I just picked up an open box zv-10 for $299. I didn’t see why having a new menu and type C port cost $700 more
What an absolute steal, the best decision easily! HAHAH, literally, the best way to put it 👌
The only reason this happened is because Sony realized that they made the ZV-E10 Mark I too good for so cheap.
Yeah, big facts mate! Mine is still going strong till now and I’ve been using it multiple times per day for over 1.5 years 🕺
hmmmm, prices are actually affordable compare to onxy or spaceplus in bkk, but seriously, after seeing ur videos, it really doesnt feel vip, people are able to walk around ur area and etc, also i think it would be better in the central vip area ?
Yeah the prices were very reasonable, especially when you go with a group like we did! As for people walking on our tables, no one's allowed past the security that we (you) don't allow in. The central vip was also very nice (you see glimpses of it in this video) But personally, I actually loved this area that we had, cause you have your own privacy, as appose to people looking down on you from the second level in the central areas.
@@EdwardChlela bro thanks fr ur input, im thinking of solo trip to phuket, and thinking of doing my homework n expense, thanks, cheers
@nslxiaoyu029 - No problem man, I hope you have a cracker trip mate!
Always wonder why they slept on the a6700 tbh
Slept on big time!
i read Tim Ferris book about Slow Carb diet and one of the rules in it is 1 cheat day per week and people seem to lose weight with this diet / method... what's the reason behind it? i'm confused
I'm not going to lie, I have no Idea who that is, but a 'Cheat Meal' is acceptable/realistic,, however, 'Cheat Days' most definitely aren't for the long list of reasons I mentioned throughout my video!
@@EdwardChlela people like Will Tennyson, Chris jones and kristie vs kitchen. Fit people doing cheat days and doesn't impact them, also thanks for the response
I really don't get the Australian pricing. Why is it so expensive there? You usually have the same pricing as Canada ( CAD and AUD is usually 1:1). Here, the A6700 is C$400 more expensive. So the ZV E10 II is worth the consideration.
I honestly couldn't tell you why there are such big price discrepancies between countries (despite conversion rates being cheaper). Currently, there's no other APS-C camera worth getting for hybrid, other than the A6700.
I COMPLETELY AGREE, I UNFORTUNATELY SOLD MY ZVE10 AND I REGRET IT EVERY SINGLE DAY. NOW I USE THE ZV1F FOR TH-cam AND I HOPE TO BUY A6700, BECAUSE I THINK ZVE10 II IS JUST A BAD COPY OF FX30 AND I INVEST IN SONY IS LEAD BY THE IDEA OF PROGRESS AND NOT BY REDUNDENCY SO I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU BRO! 🔥
Thanks mate! Damn, thanks unfortunate; I'm still using my ZVE10 for this channel and two other channels on youtube, as well as everything I do for my website and marketing! My next upgrade is going to be the A6700 most likely, so I'm looking forward to that!
Solid
Thank you legend! ✊
Great content
Thank you legend 🙏
you've got to the point where they keep changing the techy part of the story and not giving a good great deal sooner
I got there in the end, haha
❤✨👍
🕺✊
hmm here in Greece it is 1100 euros i am considering to buy ,i have lumix s5iix and a lumix s5 which is awsome but has bad autofocus and heavier and i am thinking of selling and buy zve10ii but now i willi rethink about the sony a6700
Sony A6700 is definitely the way to go! It'll be the a camera you'll use for 5-10 years straight IMO!
Video of the day for me. You may be angry but every point is valid and have helped me avoid this flop and consider the FX30 or even the A7Cii
Hey mate, I appreciate that! Nice, both of those camera options are far superior IMO than the ZV-E10 II. Now you'll just have to weigh up APS-C cost (FX30) vs Full Frame cost (A7C-II)
Love the video, i have to be a white knight about fitness hero gym tho, location is worth the price, for myself anyway, i like jumping in the ocean after a workout so being able to not pay a taxi and take extra steps is how i make the mental gymnastics work for that price. Also not included in your video is the boxing room on floor two that is inclusive of the gym pass. Aircon in all three sectors is a great competitive advantage as well. Nothing beats Virgin active gym in bangkok tho, if your travels take you to that part of Thailand you wont regret it. Cheers M8!
Hey Mike, to be fair I definitely see the appeal in your strategy! I also appreciate these further insights and therecommendation, I'll write that down incase my travels do take me there (as you mentioned) Cheers legend!✊
Facing the wrong way brother. And incline is too low need to bring it up a notch more to hit that upper chest.
Adding this to my next workout 💪🏼
Legend, let me know how you go! 💪
There’s also a hidden gem of a gym attached to the Yorkshire hotel in patong. Old school vibe but it’s quiet, not busy, and often reserved for hotel users
We ate brekky at the Yorkshire; we either completely missed the gym, or it may no longer be there (I'm not to sure on this one)
Also, across the street from Phuket gym there’s a pre workout shake spot, well,, at least in 2020
We seen the supplement store (i'm not sure if that's what you were referring too) but they were unfortunately not open at the time we arrived
@@EdwardChlela my mistake yeah I noticed you guys checked it out. Actually a good spot had they been open(weird hrs I know)
I thought that was the one! They'd definitely make a killing if they opened from like 6:30am I reckon!
Man, this brings back memories, I came here by myself Jan 2020 right before the global lockdown. Thanks for the review, a lot head gyms were a vibe especially Phuket gym, ghetto yes but honestly its the best
Nice mate, I hope it was quite the experience! Thanks for watching! Yeah, it was definitely a good experience
Great vid bro. Very informative
Thank you for the continued support bro! I'm glad you found it helpful 💪
Передам твоё видео другим россиянам. Спасибо за видео.
Thank you comrade!
Your best video yet 👏You make strong points for novices when you mentioned they shouldn't engage in very strict diets immediately as this can normally discourage and prevent healthy eating retention. An easy and gradual initiation to the life style is what will consolidate good habits.
Thank you Nasr you legend! I appreciate the support and positive feedback comrade! 🙌
i have the zv e10 mark 1 its a pretty good camera for its price range but as i was learnig filmaking and it was my first camera i have almost learned decent amount of filming and now i feel like i need that slogg 3 with 10 bit 4:2:2 color but this zv e10 mark 2 doesnt seem to be a good choice even if its 10 bit due to its price range i guess fx 30 or a 6700 will be better upgrade than zv e 10 mark 2
I've personally never shot in S-LOG 3, but 4:2:2 is definitely needed if you're after that artistic style. With my ZV-E10 I shoot with HLG-3 (since its 8-bit). If you're looking to run and gun and looking for a film-making specific professional camera, then FX30 would probably be the choice for you. But even still, I believe the A6700 is still much better, as it's a hybrid shooter with the same sensor.
Finally a video not sponsored by Sony 🙂The predictions are probably true, but then when my ZV-E10 breaks ill need another e-mount camera. The 10bit 4:2:2 isn't a huge reason, not enough people will know how to use it, and if you do, you'll buy a FX30.
Thanks mate 🙌 Yeah, most TH-camrs and blogs creating content on cameras and/or tech these days aren't honest, since they'd rather maintain good relations for early access to new releases. FX30 would be the choice for highly professional video-production. A6700 would definitely be the choice for hybrid shooters and content creators (like myself)
Why is catalyst brows such a terrible thing to use? Its just an extra step and you save hundreds
Three reasons: 1- It’s just that, an extra step that you’ll have to do potentially thousands of times over the course of owning the camera which makes the time vs effort principle over the long term not worth it. 2- Requires a decent editing/computer rig if you don’t want to be adding potentially an hour to your workflow (for slower laptops/computers) 3- The free version removes the 10-bit and turns it back into 8-bit video 4- I also just noticed that Catalyst Browse is a monthly/yearly subscription, so if you’re planning on owning your camera for more than a year, it’s definitely not worth it either (again, in my opinion) Hence why no IBIS in 2024 is a dealbreaker
@@EdwardChlelai'll also add that shutter speed must be like at least some 250+, if im not mistaken, so u cant "properly" emulate the film look (where u would need a shutter speed of 50 if u film in 25fps). that alone to me is a turn off. i found out that even gyroflow (competitor to catalyst) has this similar issue as well..
Oh, see, I didn't even know this! That's for added that mate-one more reason to avoid that 'extra step' and use either a gimbal, or camera with great IBIS
10-bit 422 is an absolute minimum in 2024. But yeah you're right about the A6700 being better in around the same price. Here it's almost $900 more.
Yeah agreed, hence how I've already "outgrew" this camera with regard to post-production. Oh wow, $900 is a pretty big difference. In Australia, I've recently seen listings for the A6700-cheaper than the cost of the ZV-E10 II. So, it's an absolute no brainer (in Australia especially) to go nowhere near it.
Being miles away from vlogging I find it weird how some youtubers call ZV-E10 II the best SONY cam of all times and others consider that very model a huge disappointment.
Hey mate, generally speaking, the ZV-E10 II isn’t a “bad” camera per se, like, it’s obviously still viable if you purchase a gimbal. However, genuinely speaking, I don’t see a world where this camera should exist in 2024 with the current camera lineup, and where technology has advanced too (especially when considering the A6700 or Canon R7). Now, when you also factor in the absurd pricing of the camera, this is why (among other reasons discussed during the video) as to why I believe the ZV-E10 II will be one of the worst selling cameras (compared to it’s predecessor)
❤❤❤
what website did you use for the boat tours? looking at visiting soon from sydney =D +1 SUb
Hey SuperNuk, we never actually ended up using a website, we went through the local travel guide in-front of our resort! (There are many travel tour guides around Thailand) Also, thank you for subscribing and supporting the channel legend! 🙏
All that American style ‘ooow look at me VIP’ shit is absolutely nauseating. On a plus side, it keeps the absolute bell ends segregated from the down to earth people who are there to socialise and have a good night.
Bravo. I have same thoughts. One problem i have is the size. If moving to a6700 propably i will go to full frame a7c2 or panasonic s9
Valid point! Do keep in mind, however, that everything full frame is significantly more expensive, especially the lenses 😮💨
Idk seems like a good deal for someone like me. I wanted to get the a6700 solely for streaming long hours. Found out it overheats then decided to go with fx30. Now I'm looking at ZV-E10II. I would save 800 euros and get the same image quality. No IBIS kinda sucks though but most of the other features don't even matter to me. Thoughts? ZV-E10 II can do 4k 30 over USB.
will your camera need to move or would it be in a fixed/stable position?
@@marcrodet4900 95% of the time it would be on a tripod filming me
@trouble2732 - Hey legend, In my opinon, the decision I would make in your cicumstance (assuming the A6700 really is a $800 difference.. I would first look at the second-hand market, If I'm unable to find an A6700 for closer to a $400 euro difference, then I would get the ZVE10-II assuming you're only going to be using it for Live-Streaming in 4K and nothing else. In my opinon, however, the problem still lies in the fact that I believe the resell value for the ZVE10-II will be absolutely horrible. Whereas, the A6700 will be extremely value for years to come. In addition to that, since you're in a studio environment, the likelihood of the A6700, or any camera for that matter, overheating is very low. If it does become an issue, you could literally just buy a ulanzi fan for heaps cheap, and attach that to your camera to prevent overheating. When you travel, and as your develop in your content creation journey, you would've wished that you purchased the A6700 instead, since it can literally do everything. You could use it for photos, graphics, promotional content, vlogging, etc.. etc. Hence, for me, I'ld still purchase the A6700 (ideally on the second-hand market).
I feel you dude. ive been looking into upgrading from my canon m50 but after watching around 30 videos from content creators who have reviewed the mark 2, the i can't imagine that the extra €300-400 is worth (it in my use case) to get a more sensible menu. You seem to be saying the same.
I’m not too familiar with Canon cameras, but what I can say, is that-unless you personally feel you’ve outgrown your current camera and can no longer continue developing your craft and learning new intuitive ways of bringing your visions to life (with your current setup), then you should ideally work towards an upgrade/investment. However, make sure you select the correct option and don’t ‘downgrade’, which I believe (with my use case), I’ld be doing with the ZV-E10 Mark II (with both pricing, no mechanical shutter and no IBIS). I’ll be saving to invest into the A6700 (this’ll be a camera I use for the next 5 years-easily)
