David delivers top quality seafood all the way to Denver. Tonight's menu from Upstream Seafood Company finished in my smoker is a HUGE lobster tail and some really nice King crab legs. If only I could add pictures.

I would like to eat here one day. The Texas tacos are big because it's from Texas. Everything in Texas is big.

It's out on West highway 54 towards Macks Creek where the old Davis Baskets was if you're familiar with that
@@lifeatlakeoftheozarks I go through Macks Creek on 54 sometimes so I should be able to see it. I don't go through that much. We drive through Macks Creek going to Springfield.

Based on the reviews we must have hit Whittles on one very off night or the very least the Chef's night off. The owner's claims of best at all levels fell short at virtually every level. Appetizer never delivered Two steaks one med rare one med. Served one med well (not even a hint of pink) and one burned to a crisp Med well was edible and sent burnt back asking for medium. Then it got interesting. 2nd-time wife was served what was effectively raw steak. While I was finishing up, Wife was served a 3rd time, Didn't even look at the steak asking instead for a to-go box. She mentioned on the drive home "given the cook's raw meat middle finger; just feed it to the dogs". Told her to throw it in the garbage. Quality is useless without consistency. Safe to say we won't be back. Just for full disclosure, the bartender took 10% off the 2nd steak for something that is going to be hauled away next Tuesday. I'm still laughing at that one.

It'll be open on warm days throughout the off season if they decide to open, but not every day.
