Was there any Locktite on the factory roof rail bolts when you removed them? It has been reported that there is Locktite and not heating to loosen could spin the clip that the bolts screw into. Making it extremely difficult to retighten with new rack.

I love the low profile design of this and lets face it, its looks real good on this Nissan Frontier. Ive been eyeballing this hard and hunting down a roof top tent for it too. Need it to stay low profile enough so i can pull the truck into my garage with the tent on it. Do you guys make side panels to strap/lock my gear onto that connect the front and rear bar together along the sides? Would like to strap a water and fuel cannister onto the sides and other misc stuff.

For extending the trailer wire harness, it’s 3 22awg wire, 3 12awg wires, and a 10awg wire

I want this roof rack for my access cab …I know I’m being irrational but the act of drilling holes in my roof is terrifying lol. That’s the only thing holding me up from doing this

The 1958 doesn’t come with a rack or rails, but I assume the roofs are the same. Is there any issue with installing this on a 1958?

dont plan on using your sunroof with this rack. and if you have the radio antenna fin in the back, you will be forced to turn the last crossbar so the top portion is facing the rear of the vehicle. as others have said, trash instructions and website details (but a very well built rack).

Why do some call this 3rd body style of the tundra a “2nd Gen”?? Lol if the first tundra body style is called First Gen up until 2006, and then you call the third body style from 2014-2021 a “second gen”, what do you call the second body style from 2007-2013???? lol

Any issues with a 2" leveling kit? I have a bumper from about 2.5 years ago that I never installed, any changes when it comes cutting? And does any issues with some winches not fitting/clearing??

Can u make low profile ditch lights that do not block the view of the corners from the drivers seat. If the led lights wrap kinda and allow function!

These ""instructions" suck compared to what it really takes to get in. You have 2 sets of carriage bolts but you don't say which to use. On the lower support - you put the support under the grill tab - that will break it. It needs to go on top, and you don't include a proper size washer. You include brackets to move the grill support bar but don't mention a word of it anywhere. Why do you identify bolts by the shank size and not the head size? The 3/4 (head) bolts for the front plate don't fit through the frame holes and you have to wallow it out or jack up the bolt to get it through. You include 2 sets of shims/spacers- thick and thin -but don't mention that anywhere. I used thick, then my hood would not shut so I had to tear it all down to but both shims in both sides. Wow.. Very disappointing. If this helps anyone, great, and good luck.

That's crazy, I did this completely wrong, I put a mounting foot for every other rail, 8 different mounts. I had outdated brackets and y'all sent some new ones recently. It would really help if your installation guide on your website was updated instead of having to dig this up. Thank you for this video.
