    I love your cabinet. Such intricate work. You asked if anyone had an idea for hinges. Tyvek tape. Tyvek is what postage bags are made of, you know the ones that are practically indestructible and hard to get into without scissors. I have some, though I havent used it yet, but you can save the bags your goodies come in. Just cut hinges to size and glue into place. Hope that helps.

    How did you learn to use the Cricuit

    • @miniaturefairytales3369
      @miniaturefairytales3369 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am completely self taught @Connie Shows. I am pretty good with technology, so I started out by watching tutorials on TH-cam and googling questions I had. It was intimidating at the start. My Cricut machine sat on my desk for a year before I used it 😊. I am thinking about adding another tutorial video to show people how to import their drawings and use them in designs. It’s been on the list for a while!

      @@miniaturefairytales3369 I have had one for 3 years & am afraid if it

    • @miniaturefairytales3369
      @miniaturefairytales3369 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don’t be afraid Connie - it won’t hurt you and you won’t break it. Start small and simple and work your way to the more complex stuff later. The biggest thing is just to start. Once you start to understand what it can do there will be no stopping you! I know many people are unsure at the start. I was unsure too. Just start simple - try cutting a few shapes, try playing with a few things in design space and see what they do. Have a look at tutorial pages here on TH-cam. I have a couple you can watch…they will at least give you an idea of how it all works. Good luck and most of all - HAVE FUN! 😊

    hhow many card stock cuts are layered for each one 4x's ? I do 1/12 scale how do I increase it?

    • @miniaturefairytales3369
      @miniaturefairytales3369 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Chris! You won’t need to increase the amount of layers for 1:12 however you will need to use a thicker material. For 1:24 I use cricut Kraftboard which is around 350 - 400gsm. So I’d suggest whatever material you use for 1:12, you double the thickness. Happy miniaturing! 😃
