The Knight, The Lady, and the Isle of Tears - For Piano Solo
What do you see??? What does my music make you feel??? Be sure to like this video and subscribe to my account. I am always working on new music to share with all of you and I do share it frequently! This piece is truly an epic! It has a medievally inspired source of inspiration. Though Ludovico Ariosto's, "Orlando Furioso", is a 16th century epic poem, it beautifully portrays Medieval themes which have played a central role in this music's development. I have a specific scene in mind which has also been the subject for many paintings. "Ruggiero Rescuing Angelica", 1819, by Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres, is my personal favourite, and it has always had a profoundly enriching effect on my imagination. The painting portrays this scene from Canto 10 of, "Orlando Furioso", in which the knight, Ruggiero, rides south along the misty coast of Brittany and happens to take notice of the beautiful Angelica off in the distance. She is tightly chained to a rock on the Isle of Tears. A most dreadful place with evil inhabitants that often offer human sacrifices to the sea monster, Orc. It appears that she is next to suffer this horrid fate. Ruggiero comes to her aid on his hippogriff, slays the sea monster, and rescues Angelica. Both the primary source material, found in the epic poem, and the painting have inspired me in writing this music. Overall, it is a piece of rain, fog, a knight, a lady, a castle, murky sea waters, and a large frightening sea monster. It is medieval, mystical, chivalric, dramatic, and epic. In a sense, this piece of music is my ode to ancient epic poetry. I have truly worked at creating this world here. This is the third piece I have written that I have classified as a medieval impression. Do let me know what you think of it in the comments section below! I love hearing from you! A girl in the park waiting for her date its statrted to get dark and its about to rain and she didnt bring an umbrella with her she is dressed beautifully as she is beautiful its her very first date and she is overwhelmed wihh emotion , she dont know what to expect from this date , but she is getting tired of waiting , looks like he forgot about her so she decided, finally , to go home alone in the cold night and rain falling.
Winter rain drops playing with toys in my room mom was around with dad in the kitchen making dinner , talking about how great day was.

the adrenaline that makes you feel alive, or the realization that the world around us is much bigger than we usually comprehend. reminds me of my first time in the rocky mountains. the incredible detail of everything even from such a distance.
I feel like a disney princess in a cascading ball gown dramatically and gracefully gliding down the stairs, seemingly floating, as the whole crowd of masked royals have to take off their masks to relish in the gorgeous sight before their very eyes.

Closed my eyes and felt like the listener is somewhere where sound carried by strong wind (the sort of call and respond feel the piano gave between the high and low notes in a minor key), whether in a field, meadow, or cliffside on an overcast cloudy day. They finally voice the anger and frusteration they’ve been bottling up and at the end they feel the weight lifted off their chest and a relief swept over like a breeze. (At the end it feels hopeful, having switched to a light feeling major chord)
