Nice catch! I would say he may have taken a little too much liberty on that one :} but generally if you need to get by a slower rider its best to give them a wide birth. Less chance of clipping them with a tight pass. We are old (> 50 years old) amateurs racing cross country dirt bikes so we give a lot of leeway..... we are all just out there for fun. The real challenge is just finishing a 1.5 - 2.0 hour race without having a heart attack. ha ha. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Probably one of the most fun races I've been a part of even though I didn't podium and only was able to watch the action from 5th place. Kudos go out to all the racers but especially Patryk Buchcik for starting on last row and working his way up slicing and dicing the last two laps for a first place finish! This was his first time back racing, on a borrowed bike, after he was taken out in a practice session by an idiot on a BMW1000 round one of same season. Of particular note, this same race he set a new fastest 250 production bike lap record for sonoma raceway: 1:54.146 Way to go Patryk!!!

Thanks. Besides the bonehead manuever on lap 2 turn 3 I thought I was going pretty good as well. Then lost the rear for some reason. Never figured out what happened. Tire pressure good, corner speed a little hotter than previously by not crazy. Maybe I hit a peg or my toe.

Crap! Which corner? I do think the wide angle makes everything seem closer than it really is. I don't remember being that close to people on the track. It's a little unnerving watching the video and see how close everyone is. and all my mistakes :)

Pretty much nailed the start, that's for sure. I'm sure it's due to the wide angle lens properties that makes it look like you closed the door on Mr. Demarest there. :]

Ok my mom was scared to death when i started driving at a age of 20 years old but now 4 years later she's proud when i driving by with my 600cc She still scared as hell though for killing myself at speeding XD Moral just do it and drive with youre brains not your horsepowers ey XD
