I've had this recurring nightmare since 2004 when I watched FoTR for the first time. I'm hiding under the dining table in my childhood house while Lurtz is outside in the garden looking for me. He's one of the few evil characters in the Legendarium that I would honestly say can be considered an honorable warrior and not just a mindless killing machine like Gothmog or other named Orcs

What I always wondered about is how does a medieval orc who was only farmed several days ago and has no knowledge of anything in the world except for combat know about the word “menu” well enough to use it correctly in conversation? And before you jump down my throat about the fact that it’s a film, that line was that specifically for the benefit of the audience, and Uruk-hai we’re not actually farmed in the book… I’m already aware of that.
