I like the graphics, but it is waaaaaaaaay too slow to be Quake.

Looks amazing! Incredible work. We have a pretty large community of old school and brand new players in the Doom 3 community currently. We would love to test this for you to help promote your work! We are pretty much all crossover quake and doom fans. IdTech4 is special.

Looks good ... except for the framerate!

Man, this brings back memories when Doom 3 first came out and playing mods that were Doom 1 and 2 levels. I'm guessing this was never finished and the video is 2 years old so, it's kind of weird at this point to criticize this. The atmosphere, lighting and maps look great. I love those particle effects for the difficulty slipgates. I gotta say though this doesn't look very fun to play; doesn't have that Quake pace. Hopefully whoever did this is still making stuff.

Framerate is like piss and by the way why do we even need this? Quake 1 was and is still fine. Also Doom 3 is a crap game...that's right. It is not a good old shooter game.

This is why I think the Deck is better than the Switch, the Steam Deck can play Wipeout 64, the Nintendo Switch can't play Wipeout 64.

Shambler's Castle was great and this map looks even more into Quake's theme, I can see lots of talent and hard work on it. Too bad you guys never finished it, I hope someday you may reconsider at least releasing it as is to someone else bring it to completion.

Never thought I would see custom Q1 models ported FORWARD to a new game! 😅These vweps are Plague's. Now I'm curious, are you Plague / is he a part of your team? Maybe Plague's Q1 vweps were backports from Shambler's Castle all along and I didn't realize it.

I was hyped by the 2016 version of Doom and I can't wait for a new version of Quake 1. I don't understand why Quake turned into a futuristic space thing on Quake 2 and after ... the universe of the 1 was so icnredible, one of my fav games so far
