The crow was warning you! The wrong way!
How could they live in this badlands??? 😳
Why would anyone live in that hell's place? Or who would build a defense for this place? Water, nada. Dont understand.
Love your videos. Thank You for taking us along. I know these are sacred places and should be preserved and cherished much more than people have so far. From what I have seen and studied, the Calvary and many others were paid for the Extermination of the Indigenous People of North America in 1863, due to the "Relocation Act of 1863", which raised the bounty for a Native Scalp from twenty-five cents to $5! That was a month's wages or more. The Natives and the Buffalo were hunted to extinction. Google: "Buffalo Bones", but not if you don't want to be very angry or even cry, like I did. I went through every emotion in a split second, straight back to anger and hurt and have been telling anyone who will listen, ever since. The Armour Brothers and Swift Meats wanted to corner the world's domestic meat markets and poisoned Chicago's poor, and drive Natives and Buffalo into extinction at the same time. The Natives were told they a choice, either go to the Interment Camps and their children go to Christian schools or die. The people who ran, lived in the cliffs. All others went to one of the 75 "Assimilation Centers" and Christian Schools up until 1971!
Its unfathomable just how many bricks have fallen off those structures
What a delightful young lady ! She is sooooo pretty!

i hella thought a crow was following y'all 😆🤦♀
Hahahaha
Looks like lots of cryptobiotic soil in the area?
Beautiful masonry.
Do you have a pet crow in your f_____ g pack? Loved the video!
No its "in your f--sqwak--ng pack"... lol
Hahaha yea we trained him to caw when he hears us cursing haha.
I was curious how you kept the Raven following you. I consider ravens good luck.
Poor choice of background music…”whacking”…
Your video was just fantastic. I think you’ll do real well with your site. However, if you guys could control your language a little bit, you’ll get a lot more regular subscribers watching your channel. Good luck guys.
Yea we're working on it, sometimes we just get carried away.
Interesting area you explored. I am thinking probably north of Chaco Canyon since you mentioned the north road going out of Chaco. New Mexico,I would think. Please provide information on your sources of information, like the article or book you are familiar with. I have heard that some native americans, perhaps Navajo and Hopi do not really like the word Anazazi as it refers to some that entered this area from the south and had a culture diffferent from theirs. They say they were eventually able to get them to leave the area. I am not an expert on any of this. This is an area I had not seen many videos about, if any. Thanks.
introduce yourselves!
We'll probably do an introduction video for the homepage at some point soon.
who are you guys?
I didnt hear spitting. Thanks for the hike, I loved the bird crowing. Interestig formations, cool.
Outstanding video guys! I really enjoyed following along. Especially since my back and legs are shot and i cant get out to hike any more. I cant wait to see more of your vids.
Thanks, we really appreciate the support!
The spitting is gross
Really enjoyed your video. Good luck with your channel.
Getting Bisti vibes. Love the land down here.
34:08 you could tie a Rope around that and rappel down :)
Those aren’t petrified trees. They’re just mudstone concretions. Yes there is wood in the area but those “red rocks” aren’t them.
An unimaginable amount of water passed over that landscape, in less time that the mind can comprehend! The valley at the 1:00 mark was filled, to the "bathtub ring" on the far hills, for a long period, the water level slowly dropping, until suddenly, a lot of water was released, at some downstream point, carving the wonderland we see in the middle. It happened far more recently than we're told, perhaps only 2,000 years ago.
That Raven keeps interrupting you. Great video guys, thanks for taking us along.
That last set of ruins would not be a good place to live if you were a sleepwalker.
Hahaha very true!
can you avoid the foul mouth
Yea we're keeping it in mind for future videos, sometimes we just get lost in the moment haha.
Beware of the Crow! Great job guys, thanks for the information and education. Are there any examples of petrified wood or is it just the stumps? So you are about 30 miles north or Chaco?
There is alot of petrified wood out there, we just didn't take much footage of it. However, in future videos we'll film the specimens we find as it seems many people are interested in seeing that.
Angels Peak overlook, I think.
That petrified wood is millions of years old, that region your in was once a part of the great inland sea. It should be rich in petrified wood and fossils.
The great flood.
Thanks for sharing your adventure with us. What a stunningly beautiful place!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I started liking this a lot, then your pal spits and the mic pics it up clearly. That's not cool being an audience person.
Grow up.
@mombeaubob pteweeee

Glad I stumbled onto your channel. I’m bummed to know I can’t binge watch more like this. Keep up the good content. You definitely have lots of potential for a great channel.
Thanks for the support, we appreciate it!
crow noise, good touch
fat wood =sap/resin
Yes sir! makes for a great fire starter.
confusing at 1st, because you said Badlands, and the only badlands i knew of are in the Dakotas, but thanks for the video
There are badlands in several places in New Mexico and there are badlands near Bastrop in Texas also.
@@jamesdouglaswhite I don’t know of any badlands areas near Bastrop. There is an area on the gulf coast near Baffin Bay as well as out toward Big Bend near Terlingua which are considered badlands. What Bastrop does have, are the Lost Pines. There are no pine forests that far west. I think the story is that a glacier separated from the piney woods areas of east Texas and carried a chunk of the pine forest over a hundred miles to the west and ended up depositing a piece of the piney woods in the middle of the post oaks and limestone that found around the hill country. Bastrop is on the eastern edge basically where the terrain changes into what’s known as the hill country.
go to the mouth and hike up to pottery
Maybe in a future video!
Great work keep it up this channel definitely has the vibe of the channel that’s gonna get big in the future 😊
I remember when that place was full of water and a paradise...then the colonists came and killed all the perfect people. Now they wage war against the entire world while making murder their primary reason for wealth.
excellent
