can this skates handke abuse and hard skating?
@@shifuugincii no, the mountingpoints in the shoes are quite weak, and the frames are not massive, but two plates aluminium with plastic mountingblocks and pins in between
@@GoFoggy is the mounting plate on the shoe made of plastic?
@@shifuugincii the shoe shell is plastic, the holder for the bolt in the shoe is too small and therfore too weak for abuse

My feet also 275 mm and I wanted to go 44, but now my guess is that I stick with size 43.
@@Buzzilio_ meanwhile I own both sizes MF500's, the size 42 in this tutorial for shorter more precise trainings and also a cheap 2nd hand bought size 43 for longer but less precise trainings, just because a less snug fit deliveres more comfort but also less control like I mentioned...

Raad je met speedskates altijd aan om met blote voeten erin te gaan of zijn dunne sokjes ook prima?
Zonder geeft het meest directe gevoel en dus controle, met is toch wat comfortabeler, ook wel hygiënischer vind ikzelf en het went ook weet ik. Ik doe het niet meer zonder maar wel jaren blootvoets gedaan (en met de juiste binnenkant schoen plakt je voet soort van vast, wat dan wel weer fijn was, vooral in de periode dat schaats/skeelerschoeisel minder stijf was dan tegenwoordig vond ik)
i have almost identical feet size to you and found the 42 too small. i did skate it for about 6 months, but the 43 is much more comfortable. the liners are quite thin, so i dont think they expand too much. and the toe box is a bit of a poor shape (no room for the big toe) makes sizing down difficult.
Hi, thanks for your reply. I express my meaning and experience with ice and inline skate sizes. To be real; the liner isn't that thin in my opinion. As soon as someone says much more comfort, they usually tend to be too large. They have to fit snug allover with no extreme pressure points, otherwise you run chances like for example heelslippage, blistering and such. But to be honest as long as that's not the case and your happy with your size it's okay ofcourse...👍

Als je een maatje kleiner had genomen, denk je dat je dan wel meer gevoel had? Of raad je sowieso aan om voor een ander merk te gaan?
@@340floris het herenmodel begint helaas pas bij mt 42. Het damesmodel eindigt daar, maar heeft een lagere gewichtsklasse en heeft ook kleinere wielen. Alleen als de schoen goed strak zit zou ik zeggen "het kan voor deze prijs" want je kunt er wel op skaten. Maar ik vrees dat veel beginners er weer door afhaken wat jammer is, dus ik zou dan veel liever voor een betere (merk)set 2ehands/zei het dan wel amper gebruikt, gaan...
@@GoFoggy ach zo, ik las al bij de reviews dat ze erg groot uitvielen. Ik heb maatje 45, waarschijnlijk ga ik het proberen met een maatje kleiner. Bedankt voor je reactie!
@@340floris overweeg ook eens deze, misschien dat het wat voor je is: een licht gebruikt Oxelo MF500 setje via marktplaats, echt de veel betere, zie ook mijn latere review en die van anderen.. grtjs

i had a pair about ten or 15 years ago. had the same trouble with them being two sizes bigger than claimed. they were actually ok, except the wheels got shredded in about two weeks. also needed a footbed/insole for comfort. those frames look weird. maybe trying to steal the impala vibe.
Well, I made some thicker footbeds in them and tried them out today in my street for a first short impression. In my next vid I will have tried them for a longer distance and post my findings. In the last (part3) I will compare them to 12yr old powerslide Vi-84 skates is my plan...

precies hetzelfde gehad. dus op naar jan van der hoorn in ter aar een paar zomers geleden en weer keurig nieuwe schoenen. hoorde bij de garantie. tot nu toe geen klachten meer.
Dan ben je wel eentje van the Lucky few. Viking laat bij de Silver 1 de klant toch echt zwemmen of verwijst ze naar makers waar er voor tig nieuw leer om komt. Voor mij is viking afgedaan!
I have recently bought the Cadomotus Bianco.... I am normally a size 43 (273mm foot length) Cadomotus said I should buy size44 because of manufacturing tolerences.... They are tight around the toe box area...
The toebox is a bit sloping to the front, maybe that's the reason for you?
thanks for the comment. The toe box is tight, and so I get numb toes after an hour of wearing the skates. I have heat molded them, with large sock in the toe area, to make more room. This has helped a little, i will try heat molding them again. I love the look of the Bianco skate@@GoFoggy
@@nigelbrown2274 well, personally I don't have that problem with the Balance series, they fit me out of the box nice, almost the same as their Versatile inline shoes. Now the Pressure was quite another story. That shoe was really tight overall, but especially in the forefoot area. Where the size 44 was to large for me in length, the 43 rather felt like an size 42, it was short but especially way to narrow (so saidly sold them unused)

Looking to buy one, but it is difficult to find one with no or little modifications and in good shape. I have a 2003 FZ1000, would like to add this bike to my collection.
I've sold mine few months ago, was a great bike but after some years of not that much use it lacked something for me personally. Not really looking for the next bike, but if... it will be Italian (again).

Hoi als ik mijn rechterijzer precies tussen de spleet van mijn grote teen en de teen ernaast wil zetten zit mijn schoen helemaal naar rechts verder kan die niet. Is dit het probleem van je voet of van de schoen? (Groothuis).
Even uitgaande van de standaard Groothuis schoenen (geen maatwerk) is de reach van de sleuven en met name de bulb (uitstulpingen waar de sleuf in zit) niet supergroot, maar toch vrij standaard verstelbaar voor zover ik weet. Voor jouw voeten kan ik uiteraard geen oordeel vormen. Wat ik wel zie en hoor is dat er bij de langebaanteams hier zoveel mogelijk neutraal afgesteld wordt, tenzij het niet anders kan (bv afwijkende voet, stand of persoonlijke voorkeuren). Als advies zou ik zeggen neem eens contact met Groothuis of de dealer ervan op e/o praat eens met schaatsers die ze ook gebruiken en vraag naar hun afstelling.
@@GoFoggy bedankt voor uw antwoord. Bedoeld u met neutraal afstellen de afstelling zoals in deze video wordt uitgelegd? Jordan stolz zijn ijzers zitten super ver naar links bijna op het shorttrack niveau. Daarom kan hij ook de hoeken maken in de bocht. Maar dat is voor mij niet mogelijk met rechts omdat hij niet verder dan de neutrale stand kan. Wellicht heeft hij custom schoenen die anders staan
@@Borisboef123 (vrijwel) elke toprijder rijdt op custom schoenen en met zijn/haar eigen afstelling (Wüst had haar ijzers bv voor/achter best ver naar binnen staan). Met neutraal voor de rijder bedoel ik midden achilles + dat naadje tenen. Schaatsschoenmakers houden daarbij meest het midden van de breedtesleuven aan (wat in mijn optiek ook ooit de standaard stand zo'n beetje was bij geklinknagelde noren). Raar genoeg zorgt dat bij meeste mindere goden voor naar binnen vallen van de (minder getrainde) enkels en maakt het evt 'overkomen' ook minder makkelijk. In the end zul je toch wat moeten experimenteren en hopelijk vinden wat voor jou het best werkt!!
