solid review. Need an advice, i have a80j sony bravia that has surface acoustics and if i were to choose BRAVIA 9 soundbar over SONOS arc ultra, my speaker will become a centre sync. am i better off with Bravia 9 soundbar?

My tv is 65 inch with eArc i do have sonos sub gen 1 if add second sub it has to be gen 3 or 4 but will gen 1 be compatible by using that sub only ?

The Arc Ultra sounds like Crap and you better hope the video you're watching doesn't change the audio type mid video. I have the Arc Ultra with 2 300's, rears, Sonos Amp with two overheads and a Sub. The App is complete trash and unless you re just listening to music, or live in a small apartment, Sonos it complete trash. You can buy so much more for $2000 that's not Sonos. You can buy a standard Sony HTIAB for half this price and makes you feel the audio in your chest. Heck, you can buy an Open Box receiver, two Klipsch Towers, a cheap sub and two passive rear speakers for the ceiling for less than $2k and it'll blow you away. Top Gun Maverick will melt your soul. Be careful though, once you go with Big speakers, you'll never find a Soundbar acceptable again. I only replied because this is what I'm going through right now. I'm returning the Sonos this week and pulling back out my Klipsh. I have tried every flagship Soundbar and in wall speaker Best Buy (Magnolia) has carried. G/L

will the ARC ULTRA sound even better with a SUB MINI and the ERA 100's ? would i even notice the difference ? i already ordered and received the sub Mini and ERA 100's my room is approx. 12 x 12 feet with 7.5 foot ceiling i got the BEAM 2 but changed my mind and wanna upgrade to the ARC ULTRA .... BEAM 2 is still in the box please let me know what you think thx also i intend to add the ERA 300's down the road possibly hoping the 100's will do in my room for now cheers from Canada another question should i not even open the Sub Mini box and just send it back and order the GEN 4 Sub ? i am not a bass head so as long as the mini adds some i would be fine i think not sure what to do

I struggled for like a whole week trying to figure out why all of the loud portions movies and games were muted on the Arc Ultra... turns out the speech enhancement completely ruins all loud noises, no matter the content, not just when there is talking. This happened for gaming on PS5 Pro w/ dolby atmos enabled (MK1, Harry Potter, etc.) and Apple TV 4K (Dune II, The Batman, etc.). Clearly that feature is just an equalizer adjustment that completely ruins the immersiveness of loud explosions and detailed gameplay sound effects. It even made the voices WORSE in Harry Potter. Anywho, that's my rant. Thanks for the video. It's a solid overview.

I'm not a fan of open ear earbuds in general, but I think these are at least reasonably priced for what they are. So many times I see similar open ear earbuds priced at $100 or more.

It actually is pool safe and can be fully submerged for a decently long time, the ip rating also backs this up. Can straight up toss into a pool and it just floats though the sound obviously takes a hit from being in the water. In the US i grabbed mine for $400 and it came with an ult field 1 for free from sony’s official site

Thanks for the review, fortunately I have an ear shape that is 'grippy' and good for these types of earbuds so that part isn't an issue (narrow ear canal actually makes the other type awful for me). I appreciate you assessing all the features fairly aside from the shape not fitting your ear.

Honestly for long walks these types of buds are great and doesn’t irritate your ears. Using lite 4. Been a year. Still solid. I literally wash it under tap, dry and it’s good again.

i have that huawei GT 3 and GT 4....yes its true the battery takes up to 14 days but apple ultra watch is the best

it looks good, but there are a thousand advantages to the Apple Watch if you use iPhones, MacBooks, etc.

Hi 👋 nice video 👍 Im strating to have a little collection of buds, which include the Galaxy buds2 pro, oneplus buds pro 2, moto buds +, and recently i found some brand new realme buds air 5 pro for pretty cheap so why not. It turns out they are now my favorite for listening to music. I think they sound incredible after a bit of EQ and with the 360 audio turned on. I tested them side by side with all the others I have, and I always end up with the realme in my ears. I prefer the moto buds + for workout and everything because they really stay well in my ears. I love the Galaxy Buds2Pro because of the superpower like ambient sound amplification. I like the OnePlus buds pro 2 because its good all around and it has the squeeze control like airpods. But for the sound, realme buds air 5 pro is best to me.

You make an interesting point about the battery life that I haven't heard anyone make before. I don't think that's enough to save these earbuds, though. 18 hours on a single charge is obviously excellent. But that comes at the cost of everything you're not getting (ANC, transparency mode, hi-res codecs, wireless charging, etc.). And if the sound quality is pretty mediocre, how much are you going to want to listen to them, anyway? The lack of any EQ options for these make them a hard sell. I could see if the sound wasn't the best out of the box, but you could adjust them, but without an EQ option, you're stuck with whatever sound you get out of the box. And without any kind of IP rating, as you said, they're not safe for the gym or any kind of wet weather. I think you're right: These are for Beats fans who simply want to be seen with Beats products in their ears. I think if they were made by any other company, that company would struggle to sell them at $30, given the competition out there.
