To Exploring
Australia

We're not influencers, we just really love to travel.
G'day! We're Lydia and Andrew 👋
With our anxiety, we wanted travel videos which explained things in waaaayyy more detail.
Costs, accommodations, walking times, weather, how days of the week affect attractions, plus the real travel fails and fights that happen along the way. So we've just spent 9 months travelling from Sydney Australia to see what full time travel is really like!
Here's to going on this crazy ride together. Hit subscribe, follow us on social media, and lets go exploring!

Our boy is in Japan 🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵!!!! Lessgo
I do this at the spa at my LA fitness
Thank you for coming to Japan. I'm living in Asakusa erea where the temple you visit and try to pic a paper fotune-tellig. I have some news for you. The number on the stick you chose was 42, but the drawer from which you took the paper was 52. So I think you are not bad luck. If you know your real fortune, I will check it out!
Oh wow thank you, we got it wrong then! If you get a chance, please let us know what it was really supposed to be!
🥰
Yes it's definitely worth visiting if you are travelling to Japan!
Interesting fact: 75% of Japan's land is made up of mountains and virgin forests, making it a country with an extremely rich natural environment.
Yes regional Japan is beautiful!! We are exploring Europe now but would like to return to Japan to explore its lesser known and travelled regional parts in the future.
@@ToExploring My recommendation is Yakushima. It is registered as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. It is a mysterious island where ancient virgin forests remain.
This is so beautiful and so true! We love the spirit of the Japanese people and the beauty of the Japanese land. 🫶❤️🇯🇵
Yamaguchi has so many onsen hot springs places where you can bathe. Check it out!
Mario😂
It looks just like it!! Mind blowing
In japan, woman can shave her fase at barbershop. Womans shaving can do at barbershop is only in japan.
Japan has so much to offer and so much of it is so unique. We absolutely love it there ❤️
@@ToExploring The first time of womans shaving was geisha about 300years ago.

Love the photo op idea ❤
Almost all of Japan is a photo op honestly!
Haha you actually can stay and take a bath at the Ryokan nearby!
Agreed, we have never seen anything like this before! Highly recommended for foreigners to visit.
That makes us feel old haha!
Monkey Business is popular in Japan (Local people is making money with them )
Yes it is definitely a popular tourist attraction, we highly recommend going!
Japan's original country name "NIPPON”means "the land under the sun" , but another name is "YAMATO(WA)” , meaning “Peacefully Harmony among People and Nature”. So Japan's name means “the Land under the Sun” and” the Land of "Great Harmony of People and Nature,” The history of Japan is very old, about 2,000 years since the Emperor's reign, but humans began to live in villages and communities in this island nation about 14,000 years ago, during “the JOMON pottery” culture. (That's 30,000 years ago, if you count the Neolithic period.) Surrounded on all sides by the sea and geographically isolated from the Eurasian continent in the Pacific Ocean, this island nation has a warm and humid climate and is blessed with abundant underground clear water resources, diverse vegetation, and fishery resources. For this reason, people have lived here for tens of thousands of years, enjoying nature and living in peace with it. However, while the natural environment of this island nation is rich, it is also harsh, with both light and dark sides. Since ancient times, the people of this land have lived in peace by respecting human harmony and working together as a group, and have shared and enjoyed the blessings of nature by overcoming many harsh and severe natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, and typhoons by sharing wisdom and working together as a group. This is because this island nation has a harsh natural environment that cannot be overcome by the power of one individual. The ancient Japanese name of the country, "Yamato" or "Wa" (great harmony and peace)、 represents the desire and reality of people trying to survive in the unique natural environment of an island nation, which is different from the dry and stable land of the Eurasian continent. And it is in this ancient Japanese country name that the essence of Japanese culture and the source and secret of the emergence of a unique Japanese culture different from the cultures of other Asian countries on the continent are hidden.
Wow!! That is so beautiful, thank you for sharing with us 🙏 do you have a favourite place to visit in Japan? Have you visited the snow monkeys before?! If you have, what did you think?
Congrats on the 34k views!!
Thank you so much!! We are so blown away
Yes, I think you were very lucky that you were being able to meet with them at there. because a few weeks ago, no one could see them at this same place. before the Christmas day will come, this nature God might gave you this watching them at there.
We were very lucky!! We actually went on the 1st of match this year which is late winter and we got really lucky that it snowed while we were there and the night before. We would def recommend going in the middle of winter for your best chance to see them soak!! Have you visited them?
In fact, I did not go to there to see them . yes, I may think many Japanese people know very well about that Monkey goes to the bath very often in winter season. because we are understanding very much that Monkey has the same think about hot water makes them relax very well. we may be knowing that Monkey has the same feeling as human who goes to hot warter very oftern in winter season. so, we do not want to go to there to see them very much. but for foreighner , it may be different thinking about Monkey with Japanese . so, foreigner tourist may want to see them very much to know about Monkeys life in the hot sping water.
If you ever go, let us know what you thought!
Hope that both of you have experienced hot springs also like monkeys!
Absolutely, we highly recommend going into Yamaguchi and staying at one of the Onsen hotels if you are going to see the monkeys. Have you been? We are trying to put together a video of the Onsen town but the footage we have is limited.
@@ToExploring Yamaguchi means Yamaguchi prefecture? I am Japanese and visit Nagano so many times, but never been to snow Monkey mountain. Your program makes me feel to need to enjoy more Japan!
We stayed in Yamanochi, the onsen town and highly recommend it! The town is really beautiful and there is a fun bar there too. We’re hopefully going to do a video on yamanochi so stay tuned! There is also a ryokan right near the snow monkey park but we’re not sure how exactly you book it. When you visit the snow monkeys please write to us and let us know how it went. Remember to go in the peak of winter!
Food variety in Japan is endless! Thank you for the recommendations.
Great tips!! We’re in Europe right now but hoping to be back in Japan very soon!!! We hope you enjoyed watching x

We will definitely try when we return to Japan!
We visited the Gundam cafe on our first visit in 2019 and loved it! But we haven’t done the other items on your list!! Great tips for when we head back to Japan very soon. Thank you!

Thank you so much!! Where are you off to on your Japan adventure??
Oh wow! We haven’t been to those parts! We’re in Europe right now but are hoping to go back to Japan very soon. There is still so much to explore. After your trip, please write us and let us know where you would recommend we go!
Thank you! We will!
That could be true! I guess they have more responsibility to keep their babies warm. It wasn’t as cold when we were there though. I’m sure if you go in the dead of winter, then they all get in!! We would def recommend going in Dec or Jan, and not early March like we did.
We love animal experiences!! We are in Europe at the moment and just saw owls, and bears! We did the bowing Nara deer on our first visit to japan in 2019 and we loved them! Such a bucket list moment for me. There are so many animal experiences we want to do in japan - bunny island, foxes, etc!! We’re hoping to be back there really soon. What would you recommend?
Wow, so cool. I can't wait to go 😊
You won't regret it, I hope you have a great time!
You really need second, third set of stomach in Japan. You need lifetime to enjoy all the food there then some.
Agreed, the food is so good and there is so much variety!
Your Japanese memories will last forever as one page of your lifetime.
It's an amazing country, we hope to return sometime soon and see more!
