My childhood home in Compton Ca was one of the few still intact from the 1950’s. It was built in the 1940’s. It had a beautiful pink creamy bathroom, all the tiles and the sink was pink. We had a spare living room like an private family room and it had a baby blue carpet with texture. The kitchen was brown and light olive green, with yellow as well. It had double ovens and a huge stove. My favorite part was a built in cabinet that divider the entrance from the dining room. It had golden hardware and glass knobs too. It reaked like old paint my mother never stored anything in there. It had a pool as well and the shape of the pool was very cool it had a tapered shape and old baby blue tiles around the edge. My mom hated that hime she made my dad tear everything down.
