The new record 'Melhorament', is an album delving into the haunting tale of medieval France's Cathar massacre, wrought by the brutal Albigensian Crusade under Pope Innocent III's command. Through its raging melodies, 'Melhorament' captures the essence of persecution and intolerance, echoing the dark saga of the Cathars, while serving as a stark reminder of humanity's inclination to repeat history's mistakes. Yet, this isn't merely a recollection of ancient horrors; it's a poignant reflection on the underlying motives driving contemporary conflicts. With blistering riffs and guttural vocals, VIACRUCIS urges listeners to confront the demons of our shared past, compelling us to examine the true reasons behind our present-day wars and quarrels.

Gefällt mir! Wenn die Qualität der anderen Songs ähnlich ausfällt, werde ich mir die CD definitiv gönnen. Gleichwohl bin ich noch etwas skeptisch (s. @karstenscherners Kommentar); wahrscheinlich muss der Song noch etwas wachsen für mich. Offtopic: Wird es eine digitale oder physische (Neu)-Auflage von Vargnatts "Wintergrab" geben? Ich frage, da mich das neue Artwork neugierig gemacht hat. Glücklicherweise habe ich zwar eine der originalen, aber wäre schön zu wissen, ob es da Pläne in die Richtung gibt.
Also das Album ist großartig, uns hat es gleich von Anfang an komplett abgeholt und mit jedem Durchlauf wurde es besser. Sicherlich darf man nicht einen Lunar Aurora / Grabnebelfürsten Hybrid erwarten - bei den beiden Projekten ist ohnehin alles gesagt. Aber man kann durchaus qualitativ hochwertige Musik erwarten bei der Besetzung von Kohlrabenschwarz. Wir als große BALD ANDERS Fans würden es eventuell als Bindeglied zwischen Lunar Aurora und Bald Anders ansehen. Bzgl. Vargnatt gibt es Ideen, aber bis dato ist leider noch nichts spruchreif. Grundsätzlich war das neue Cover eher Not geboren, da wir keine ordentliche Datei mehr vom Original Cover hatten.

Man muss ja nicht zwangsläufig eine Melange aus Grabnebelfürsten und Lunar Aurora erwarten. Diese hoch gelegte Latte war auch sicher nicht angedacht. Aber es reißt mich nicht grad vom Hocker. Vor allem stimmlich. Mal sehen was noch nach kommt.
Dann hoffen wir mal, dass dich das restliche Material abholen kann. Wir sind jedenfalls sehr angetan davon⚡
