How about this: ptosis induced astigmatism 'with the rule'. Vision is fair in the morning but by 9pm have no detail vision because of vertical double vision because the cornea has wrinkle caused by eyelid droop. Ptosis surgery failed to lift eyelids enough. Can glasses cope with this?
@@silaslongshot941 In such condition irregular Astigmatism develop which can't be corrected by Spectacle. Bud if there is regular Astigmatism then patient can benefit from spectacle.
I love you man, those have been a godsend for studying for my practical. Would be even better if you could demonstrate doing it but that would require a willing subject so not that easy sadly. Why in myopia of less than working distance we get with reflex movement?
@@sajid-khan77 Because of not placing working distance power. First place working distance power then check the reflex, you will get against movement even if Myopia is less than working distance power.
@@optometry-with-samir I mean that without putting first the working distance power,the movement (with) possibly indicate emmetropia,hyperopia and myopia of less than working distance, that's why asking why the third possibility of myopia of less than working working distance although the movement is with
@@sajid-khan77 Say from 67cm without working distance power the reflex is with movement and you neutralize with a +1.0DS trial lens. Now the final power will be: +1.0 - 1.50D or 0.50D of Myopia. So, though movement was with movement still it's Myopia. Now, why it's happened.... We identify refractive power in Corneal plane but you are seeing the reflex from 67 cm means you are identifying the power at 67cm. At corneal plane patient is -0.50D but when you are seeing from 67 cm it becomes +1.0D.

Hi thanks for your video Help. I have questions that: my prescription for right eye is: spherical -3,5/ cyl -1,00 Axis 163 and left eye is spherical -5,25 / cyl -1,00 Axis 175. Same the way in video i get tonics lens prescription is - for right eye -3,25/ -0,75 x 160 -for left eye -5,00/ -0,75 x180 I'm not sure about Axis!! Longing for your help and thank a lots ❤

Why retinal breaks happen in myopia?
@@1plucked_flower Due to posterior segment elongation Retinal break happens. Fibrous Sclera and Vascular Choroid can easily elongate but neural retina get teared when elongation happens.
