It has been a fun evolution going from trying to find the proper positions of each vs starting to actually see them on the guitar. Reminds me so much of my boxing journey from amateur to pro. From finding the spots or just hoping it works to seeing the places my hands and feet should go. It allowed me to go from mimicking boxing to feeling what was needed in each moment. Thanks for the review dude. I just ordered mine and I’m ready to use it!
For the price point man it's mint and I use this thing all lot. I do a lot of 4 season camping. I've had some other stoves over the years this one is solid for $300. Tent too. I took this session to 190 later on but I like 170 to 180. For reference it was 36 degrees F outside at the time I made this video too.
Still holding up well? I’m looking to order the same setup.
I have had it up for three months straight so far and still holding up great. I have intentionally kept it up to test it in all weather conditions to see how it does. Tent is still perfect other than minor staining inside on the white cloth. The stove has been perfect except for after being real hot the floor grate on the inside has sagged a little making it hard to get the ash drawer out. That's an easy fix. I pryed it up a little, took the tray out and grinded down the back wall of the drawer so it doesn't catch the sagging area. My others stoves do the same but the drawer has only three side walls without the back one. I hope that makes sense. All and all for 600 total package it is perfect. Used 3 to 4 days a week mostly.
th-cam.com/users/shorts2Dn6ZASTXdM?si=SOQ4ABbA7otI-XxT. Here is an update.
So it looked like that stainless steel top was twisted. Is that the case I’m a little confusing I guess did it go back down after it cooled off is all OK
That's the rock tray. It's not the actual stove. The stove is holding up great. I get it red hot everytime. The tray flattens out after it heats back up from the cold water I put on it for steam. Inside the stove the grate has bowed down a little making the ash tray hard to pull out but that's an easy fix by using a little pry bar or trimming the back of the tray flat. It has a lip on the back end that's no really needed.
Just ordered one on Amazon hope it's awesome
And half the cost! Enjoy my friend
How is it? Thinking of getting one
@mbach003 it's not bad but you sure have to use like 3 blocks or more of wood to get that thing hot
@@jessygibbs4132 make sure your wood is dry too.
@@montellabm will do
Love to see you executing on something new brother. It is the message I have always preached. If there is something you want to learn, do, or achieve, go after it!!!!!!! Glad to see you doing your thing 💪🏿💪🏿
Absolutely man. I'm pretty heavy into BJJ now to but music will be something I want to do for a lifetime and I love the blues. Keep spreading the message my friend!
Tell me why I never heard of the zoomies until my wife said it the other day about my dog lol. 😂😂😂
Lol same here man.
That was such a fun time! We gonna do this every year now!
We can do some more gnarly ones if you want. I take you on some that will make us suffer a bit more ;)
@ hell yea! Imma invite more ppl next time!
@DanthaSouthpaw gotta train as a team. I will get a few dates together for one in like March or April out West where we stayed in the log cabin.
I was there
Fun tike for sure.
Hows the smell and hows it holding up now?
Holding up great. Smells fine too. I've had it up for over two months straight so far. What smell are you thinking it would smell like?
@@montellabmi was thunking maybe a plastic or chemical smell? I just bought one comes ina few days!
@@MetanoiasLifestyle @MetanoiaTrades no mines been great. I was worried about the same but the hottest at about 214 and no issue.
@@MetanoiasLifestylehow is it ?
All that running will serve you well in boxing too coach!
Haha you are going to make this mountain runner take up boxing training!!!!! Keep pushing and coaching 💪🏿💪🏿
Sounds good.
@@TropicalLatitude thank you.
Practice, practice, practice...great!
@larrypoulos5134 thank you. I feel it's pretty close but tempo is obviously slower. The speed will come though.
@@montellabm A metronome could be helpful. Or playing with the record. You're getting there!
@larrypoulos5134 I like the idea of a metronome. I normally play with the song but wanted to try it without for the first time. I use the Spark app and amp set up as I can loop parts of the song and slow them down but now I'm thinking a metronome would be good for practice. Thanks for the recommendation.
Just remember, Breaking even isn't breaking! You still pushed for it. Do it again tomorrow.
@@marksmith1033 100 percent.
Did u ever get it to go higher? 210 or more?
No 192 was all I took it to but did not try to go hotter really.
That looks so fun. I love boxing circuits.
@@jesselowe9374 thank you. That is what I love about boxing training. It doesn't take much.
@@montellabm Exactly. Just moving and grooving and having fun.
Did you manage to get a thermometer and check how hot it gets?
192. It's in one of my next videos
@@saadath94 I have had it up to about 212 now
How Long do you need, to get this temp? And how much Wood needed? Thanks and Kind regards from Germany
@@janreinschmidt155about about 30 minutes depending on the wood.

Gonna be honest, could be done better, but relax you'll all get there.🫡
They are all green mma fighters with no bouts yet. I know they will get there.
I never knew 'Jason Statham' could play Guitar ?! - :)
I get Stathom like all the time lol.
...well done,.. keep going! I prefer to practice my blues totally naked,.. just saying!
Lol noted. I didn't even think about the fact people would watch them. I upload them to track my progress with scales and modes practice.
Good job man, sounded great 👍.
@@congerscott6064 I appreciate ya
Nice job my friend, very laid-back slow bluesy feel. Thanks for your time and effort in making this video... I've been playing for decades (Blues Guy) and I enjoyed it...
Much appreciated. It is my next journey to become proficient at playing.
@@montellabm Your coming along quite nicely...
Soooo lame... Don't quit your day job.
Lol awww you hurt my feelings.
@@montellabmWell, I was being honest, on TH-cam you can see hundreds of players that can play really well, if I were you I wouldn't go public yet. Just keep practisinig, play for yourself and close friends. I play a lot better and I wouldn't dream of publishing on YT.
