"Die Kaserne winkt" ('The barracks are calling') is an anti fascist song, sung by the German singer and actor Ernst Busch. The song is part of the record "Rote Lieder - rote Gedichte" ('Red songs - red poems') released in 1967.
The song takes the form of a highly cynical and ironic mirror for those responsible in which a military rythm is mimicked. Together with some truly groundbreaking references, which possibly can't be fully translated into English.
