I agree, I love these farm videos, but nobody wants to hear music. We want to hear the machines working.
Theres a good reason theres music. You won't hear the machines. All you'll hear is 5 minutes of just non-stop, headache inducing buzzing from the drones 4 moters and props. In fact, they don't even bother putting mic's on drones for that reason.
How many days earlier you can harvest with this way?
How many tons did you collect per hectare?
What's really remarkable about these machines is that they thresh and winnow the wheat too. In the old days you would have had to have three different machines to do all this.

I have harvested many fields of wheat since 1960 and have never seen one that good! It takes good land and good farmers. thanks for the video. north dakota.

Whats up with swathing your cereals before harvesting? Just a stop to the cycle so the grains dont fall out of the head? Im a corn and soybeans farmer so not much experience with wheat canola etc
Matt Barr basically ya or if you have two combines with 20 ft straight headers but you have a 30 ft swather you get more done in a day with the combines.
south sask farmer Around my area we generally run 25-40ft headers for our small grains. I run an older 1660 so a 30ft is all I can ask of it when we harvest oats.
Matt Barr ya i just used myself as an example last year I only have flex headers for my 860 and 2188 and they where only 20 ft buy since then I've bought a 35 ft for my 2188 so I will be swathing less now due to that!
