Fabulous Carnelian Tube Agate Specimen
This is a wonderful specimen-quality piece of Carnelian Tube Agate. It has nice varying shades of light-to-dark orange and tubes visible from most sides. One side is sliced side so you can see the eyes of many of the tubes. It also has a couple spots of druse crystals. This piece is larger, measuring 6" x 3 1/4" on the sliced face and weighing over 4 pounds. It came to us as part of an old-stock collection. While it could be used as lapidary rough for cutting cabs, it is a really nice collector's item. (This beauty has already sold.)

Crystal Geode with Agate, Hematite, Sagenite, Tubes

(Visit our website for details. www.edwardallengems.com/display-geodes.php#ID4235-a.) How would you like to slice open a stone and find this? This lovely geode was acquired from an old stock collection of rough material. We don't know for sure, but we think it was collected from the Cady Mountains in the Mojave Desert of California probably in the 1960's or 70's.

It's not working I have tried couple of times instead the gas will just waste
I'm sorry to hear your soldering iron isn't working for you. Do you have an EAGems version or a different brand? If it's an EAGems, make sure you have the right kind of butane, in a container with a long thin fill tube on it so it triggers the valve to allow the gas inside the canister. I hope that helps, but if do have the EAGems tool and still need help, visit the 'Contact Us' page on our website at EAGems.com and send us a message. We can send you some other things to try. ~EAGems
love the color!!

Thank you for this clip ❤

That is gorgeous. I love all the unique hues within carnelians. Would love to see the tube side with a high polish!
Yes, we loved this one too. We've had a number of beautifully colored carnelians pass through our hands, but this one was the most unique and spectacular! Not sure what the buyer had planned for it, but the tubes did have what looked like some kind of a natural shine on them, as you can kind of see in the video. Thanks for commenting! ~EAGems
Thanks, I too bought my caliper over two years ago, I checked today and it was dead. I googled and you came up; I should play the lottery today. 🙂
Wish i'd discovered this 5 min ago...after trying, in vain, for 20 min to try and slide the lil effer off i flipped it over and thought "i wonder if that tiny screw has something to do with it". Gotta be smarter than the device your fixin to fix it. 😂😂
Thanks lods!!!!!
Thanks for this video!!!
You're welcome, glad it helped. ~EAGems
Okay, this just seems wrong in that it's so fast to fill? I've likely wasted 100 gallons of fuel now in my time with this iron as it just didn't seem right to squirt a few moments to fill and have it spraying wildly in the air most times? Anyways...I'm guess I'm doing it right!
How do yku bleed out the air from the tool before refilling?
Do you have an EAGems brand soldering iron? This may not apply for other brands, but the one in this video, an EAGems brand multipurpose soldering iron kit, does not need to have air bled out of it.
Preciso saber a quantos volts e esa bateria a bateria que acabou não tem anotação nenhuma
Thanks
Couldn't figure out how to remove the cover. Thanks much!
Thank you so much for making this video! life saver!!
This video slaps! I recommend it.
Thanks very much. I needed to figure out how to replace the battery
Thanks for sharing!
❤❤❤
Love the sound of a massive gas leak in the background😮
Thank you I could not see where they were talking about with the screw although now it seems obvious lol 😎🙏🏻🤓💯
I know, it's hard to find until you do find it, and then it's pretty easy! ~EAGems
Thank you! I was almost there but put the battery in upside down before watching your video. My caliper works wonderfully now 😊
Ah, we love that! Glad to hear. ~EAGems
Thanks!!

Thank you very much!

Instructions said 10 seconds as well but it looks as though it wasn’t more than three seconds for you. I had the same experience.
Hi, yes the instructions said 10 seconds, but as you observed, and we did too, it is usually much faster to refill than 10. ~EAGems
Happened to me - was about to throw it away! Thanks to this video, easy fix.
So glad you found the video. You're welcome! ~EAGems
Perfect thank you!
You're welcome! ~EAGems
Thanks, I needed that. It's definitely not apparent. Could take the whole damn thing apart if you were trying to use it intuitively.
You're welcome! And I get it about it not being intuitive. It's that way to help keep liquid and tiny particles out of it. ~EAGems
Thanks for the video - it certainly helped. Is there any information about the battery specification? On my old flat battery there are the identification marks a follows:- 390 SR11 30SW Silver Oxide. Does anyone know what the correct battery specification is? This is for a Magnusson 150 mm vernier caliper.
Glad the video helped. The IP54 caliper in the video uses a CR2032 battery, but I googled a "Magnusson 150 mm vernier caliper," and it looks like it might need a 1.5V button cell. If you just google what you typed as the brand, I found a few links where you can see the specs on it, or download a manual, if it looks like the right match for yours. Hope that helps! ~EAGems
@@eagems3220 Thanks - all sorted.
Thank you for this video, I was ready to do serious damage to this poor caliper 😅
Well glad the video helped! ~EAGems
thanks the directions don't say anything about a screw, so I tried a screw and apparently picked the wrong one and the wheel fell off. lol thanks for posting this. the directions say to push it off in a certain direction which is completely wrong.
Glad the video helped! ~EAGems
Great job, straight to the point vid. My thanks from over in the UK.

Sorry to hear that! But hopefully this did help.
Thank you! I'm now able to fully use my new Christmas present! Merry Christnas to you and yours.
Awesome - you're welcome! Enjoy it. And yes, we did have a Merry Christmas, hope you did as well. ~EAGems
Incredible
🤩 Thanks, we agree! It was pretty awesome to slice into it and see that beauty when opened up.
thanks 👍 for the instructions.
You're welcome!
You'd think the included instructions would mention a screw to remove first. Thank you!
You're welcome. ... Is your caliper from EAGems? If you have the EAGems instruction manual, it does have directions on the bottom of the 2nd page for changing the battery and it shows which screw to take out. Hope that helps. ~EAGems
@@eagems3220 I don't think it was from EAGems. It had a small sentence about following an arrow to remove the battery cover (there was no arrow showing anything). It said nothing about a screw. Haha
@@JonnyRay82 Well, I'm glad the video helped! And also glad it was not an EAGems caliper you had. :)
Wrong…. You HAVE to bleed off excess air from the tool or else it it will not allow the butane to be refilled. It will act like it’s full but it has too much air but no liquid butane
Thank you for commenting. There may be circumstances where that will help. But most of the time the tool easily refills without issues.
Is there any trick to bleed the air, or just leave it running for a while?
Well how to do that genius?
Yea lol as someone genius...how do you bleed the iron?
These crappy calipers don't seem to have an auto-off, as more often than not I find it with a dead battery, as it will turn itself on with just a little jostling.
I'm sorry you have had trouble with yours. It does have an auto-off after about 5 minutes. And it is very sensitive to movement so it will come on if the jaws are opened even very slightly. It also does have a slight drain on the battery when not in use. But even so, with normal use, it is common a good battery to last about a year or longer. If this is not the case for you, you can reach out to us through our contact page at EAGems.com and give us your order number and we will see how we can help you. ~EAGems
@@eagems3220 I thought it should but it's the only explanation I know of as to why it is always dead.
@@jerryyager2601 I understand. As with many things with electronics, sometimes there are failures. It could be a bad battery, but also possibly something with the electronics went bad. We haven't had many problems like that, but it has happened. As I said, if you want to reach out to us through our contact page at EAGems.com and give us your order number, we will see how we can help you further.
@@eagems3220 Thanks, I should delete the comment as the brand name on mine are different. I'm assuming several companies sell this caliper.
@@jerryyager2601 Lol, well I'm glad to hear that! But I definitely understand. Many types may look the same but will still have some differences. No worries about deleting the comment, but if you are inclined, updating that it was not an EAGems caliper would be great. Either way is fine.
Perfect. I have a "Kraflter IP54". Exact same thing less the fancy writing. Your video was straight to the point and works on many of the knock offs as well.
That's awesome! Thanks for letting us know. :)
