Get a grip mate, your choice of vehicle, your choice of going without a diesel heater, your choice of opting out of a normal lifestyle that includes work.
Subscribed. Nice gentle and genuine discussion. I am considering van life but not through necessity, more through choice for fun. I will bail if I want to. I appreciate that other have a different agenda/circumstance. I think much of it depends on where you are coming from and the life experiences you have already gathered. I will be 53 and as such am under no illusions of that it will be a utopia. thats fine.
Love watching your vids bro and your pics of Japan are amazing. I’m moving out there in September for a year so hit me up if you come over that way! (It’s Roo btw 😂)
I’ve managed to find a deal for the S1H for only £400… was scrambling as it felt too good to be true and stumbled on this video. i shoot the S5ii for my work but its a company owned camera, think i’m gonna pick up the S1H for my own projects! What vintage glass do you use? i have some FD lenses from my canon FTB that i might try and adapt, so many possibilities! aaaah i’m so excited!
This was such a cool video to watch. Such a good idea mixing videography and musicology (never used that word before 😂) into one documentary, turned out amazing.
What a beautiful life journey! ❤ & AWESOME storytelling 👏🏼😍
Hiiii i love your video i have a few questions how do i get clear and high defined portraits using contax which setting which film i got mine i’ve been snapping it with kodak gold 200 haven’t developed any picture as yet since there are no labs in my country anymore so i thought when i take a trip abroad i’ll get them developed
I love the whole theme of letting go of imperfection- something that’s close to my heart right now. Your film has inspired me to do something similar with a dance film I want to make. Great work! - from a fellow AOD member.
which camera did you use to film? like the vlog camera?
Trees & mushrooms are just purely AWESOME 🥰 Love the energy of this video!

Great work 😍 Good luck with the final nominations!!
dreamiest video and a beautiful tune! love it 🌟
Huge love for the words Annie!
Everyone talks about it, countless videos with titles like this...
woow WHAT A RIDE 😨 but also very beautiful insights you got from there at the end!
Mine now doesnt work and i dont know why
My HP e317 bought in 2005 stopped working around 2010.I probably took around 3000 pics before IT stopped working, was well preserved , i don't know why
This is so beautiful to watch!! Your passion is unparalleled 😍 May all your dreams come true
This is so cool! I love the dreaminess while watching. Seeing them capture natural sounds like they're in science class made me happy for them, that they've created a life where they can be playful and curious. Great piece!!
I really like everything about this... the message, the edit, the calm highlights -> learned a lot while watching! thank you! ;)
Luke - this is so fun! I'm an AOD member and my husband creates music as well, so I'm often filming him during the process. I love that you had this premise for your ODD! It was beautifully shot and so enjoyable to watch1 Well done on Best Film nom!
Well done!
Stoked to see your name in the best films! Loved the film, it is really immersive :)
Incredible
Thanks so much!
Such a cool idea to combine „your“ challenge with one for the characters in the film! Would love to listen to the whole track
I'm an AOD member. Lovely work! Getting out of your comfort zone and allowing for imperfections is a great way to get out of a creative rut.
Great lesson for filmmakers and all creatives.
Wicked! Im happy you think so!
Got mine today, what strap do you have. I've read the original strap was exactly 70 cm long to measure minimum distance.
have you uploaded the tibet video yet?
January. Watch this space...
Which camera do you think has a better image, the S1H or the Eva1? I ask you because I see that in the video there is an Eva and I am deciding between those 2 cameras specifically talking about image quality, not ibis, focus or ND filters, thanks
Great question! For pure image quality, the EVA1 wins hands down. For practicality and versatility, the S1H takes the lead.
1 thing that helps w/ being nervous about taking shots of people is just to use a longer focal length initially. I like my 100mm (nice compression too), but I think anything 85mm up will give you the distance necessary to not feel like you're intruding. Can also make your shots look a little different since most people will be using a 28-50mm focal length for street photos.
Nice video, nice to get the images into Lightroom but I do prefer to keep analogue analogue. The imperfections even slight are what makes analogue great. Your images were good without editing but I get it.
Thanks so much! I’m committed to the analog process too and will be heading to the darkroom soon instead of Lightroom, ha. I love showcasing this balance in the series. Hope you’ll stay tuned!
25:25 Mr bus man and 15:21 the Orange gardens were up there with my favourites! Really enjoying these raw long form videos, more please!
Great to hear your favorites! What I love about photography is how one person’s favorite can be completely different from another’s. So glad you shared. Thanks for the comment, really appreciate it!

Yeahhh YEAH! Love the mixtape bro, where can I find it?
more piccyyssss, love the live reveals !
Hehe! Im happy to hear! Does the format work or does it need spicing up a little?
Beautiful work Lukey boy !

Wow what a great video... love the message, but also the choice of music, the shots, the editing and color grading... btw i am subscribed and only saw that you posted because of your community post... just an fyi
I agree about recycling but the truth is "they" only use 5% of what we put in the recycle containers. It's not cost of effective for "them". Also plastic breaks down. Plastics can only be recycled a very limited amount. Personally I think ONLY things that need to be kept in plastic should use it. There are many use cases where other materials can be used. Like milk cartons. They could be paper products like what I grew up with. Also I reuse my water bottles all the time. Some bottles use a heavy gauge plastic. I refill them by the dozen. Water bottles could be boiled/cleaned and just use a new cap?
🔥🔥
Everything about this is perfect. Such good work bro!

Yep. Sure was... Such a madness.
