Epic 3 days 2 nights road trip from Malaysia to Hatyai, Thailand. Our journey started from Bukit Kayu Hitam ICQS Malaysia around 0700 local time.Travel insurance, car insurance, Thailand simcard and other required document booked online for hassle free journey(highly recommended). Day 1, we visited Marita Dimsum Halal, Nora Plaza, Kaysorn Souvenir and Khlong Hae floating market. We stayed at Hatyai Midtown Hotel for 2 nights. On day 2, we visited Kim Yong market, Songkhla city, Ko Yo island, Tinsulanonda bridge, Songkhla lake car ferry, Chang Puak Camp, Seaverse Cafe & Restaurant, Asean Night Bazaar, Greenway Market and Lee Garden night market. Day 3, we visited the must visit Dimsum Chabura and 7 Eleven. Heading south, return back to Malaysia. It was an epic roadtrip with tasty food everywhere. Simply love it!

Places of interest:
1. Hatyai : Hatyai is the most popular gateway for Malaysian(Yes, it is!) which is located in southern Thailand. We really enjoyed the food e.g seafood, street food and of course that mouth watering dim sum.
2. Ko Yo is an small island, located in the middle of Songkhla lake in the area of Mueng Songkhla District in southern Thailand.
3. Tinsulanonda Bridge : The Local people call it “Tin Bridge” or “Pa Prem’s Bridge”. The bridge dividend into 2 sections which spans a total length of 2.6km.
4. Songkhla Lake Car Ferry : The ferry transport cars, motocycles and yes that iconic tuk tuk. The ferry links Singhanakhon side to Songkhla city side which around 10 mins or less.
Pro tips: 20 baht per car.
5. Samila beach : This is where the famous golden mermaid located. A must places to visit whenever you come to Songkhla!
6. Khlong Hae floating market : This is the largest and lively floating market at Southern Thailand. Operating time from 1300 to 2100 on friday to sunday including public holidays.
