No Walmart?
If I had to come up with a valid complaint about Grass Valley it is that it is hilly here. I have bad knees from my paratrooper days so I really notice it. Other than that this is a pretty good spot in the world.
I’m a realtor in the El Dorado Hills Folsom area and I shared this video on my Facebook page because the builders are building a lot of new houses here and we’ve got a lot of people coming from the bay area that drive like maniacs and they need to chill out so I shared your video -love your thoughts and maybe we can Exchange referrals in the future.

I read the original article. This really is a great counterpoint. Grass Valley is just the right size, in my opinion.
Congratulations on driving all those scary, nasty, "divisive" Trump supporters out and driving the price of real estate out of reach of locals whose families have been there for generations. Now you can get busy creating the same liberal mess you left on the coast. Cheers
This community used to be far different than it is now. In the past it was a predominately Republican County and the City was also. The change really rolled in with the 2008 election year. I liked the not so much like San Francisco times but I know those days are gone forever. Places change and life changes all of the time. It was best she left for better places for her. I may do so also sometime and I am a long time resident. Thanks for saying nice things about here.
