I never realized how much creepier I wanted the cyberman to be until the scene with Clara being trapped in a room with one along with the music that you added. something about the tension was just... perfect. its like if zombies were even more horrific, because you are in pain, just forced not to care, and still alive. I feel like doctor who has always used them as "generic emotionless robot villain" when they could be sooooo much creepier and more interesting! (no hate to any cyberman episodes or writers though! and the cybermen arent even my fav villain, I just really like the ideas and possibilities)

They should get rid of the soap opera crap and stop trying to sexualise the show get the Doctor off earth more and just bring back horrors and scary monsters and make it what made Classic Who awesome decent proper science fiction.
I certainly agree about getting him away from Earth! I’d add they should invest in more practical alien planet sets. Ones like Planet of Evil that Roger Murray Leech designed is some of the shows best. I personally don’t mind the soap opera aspect of the show. It just needs more balance. Some more scary monsters would be nice :)

I love how Ascension is basically remix of the Tomb of the Cybermen. Maybe you should’ve put some of the show’s footage into this, to see how the music fits particular scenes. Nevertheless excellent work!

Imagine a spin off called Sparrow & Nightingale, could be an adult spin off starring Sally Sparrow maybe as an investigator of the paranormal or supernatural. The show could really delve into darker aspects of the weeping Angels, and make them scary again. I truly believe the character of Sally has a lot of potential, it will be like the weeping angels finally getting revenge on their first true enemy. Maybe even throw Martha into the mix.
